Might as well give the same argument for Apple products. It's just simple capitalism, if it sells, make more and "newer" versions. Simple.

COD needs real improvement. They constantly speed a VERY small amount of time developing the game while using a very old engine. When games are rushed for money it never turns out well. Just look at BF3 and all it's glitches.

I can see the move to Video Games, but why merge it with Black Ops 2? My topic wasn't about Black Ops 2, it's about the CoD series as whole and how they keep spamming out games.

I don't really care what anyone says, this is my go-to console shooter series. It's no CS1.6 but it keeps you entertained for 5-6 months.
Doesn't look too bad.

The multiplayer trailer just came out:
The maps look more promising than the awful ones from MW3, that's all I have to really say.

I gotta say that looked pretty hot. There's still things I generally dislike (was that a marathon+tactical knife combo?) but it looks promising.

There are bound to be a few things that would slip through the dev team's net. Though, they kinda shoot themselves in the foot with scheduled DLC releases instead of going by the "It'll be released when it's done" school of thought. At any rate, DICE has been good with patching the glitches that are present.

I've been picking up COD games ever since I bought a PS3 slim on launch, mw2, black ops, mw3. But I think I'm finally done with this. The games get dull quickly, and I am 100% against the philosophy of activision. They would have turned their games into pay 2 play if they could have. Thank god that they don't have a monopoly on console fps games.
Unless the game is significantly superior to MW3, they can kiss my $60 good bye.
Though I do admit, I've been complaining about every COD game during their annual duration, only to miss it when the next game comes out (and move on to complaining about the new cod). I guess that says something about the direction their games are headed.

I'll probably rent it, I only play the online game play at someone else's house nowadays so it'll just gather dust here, unless I want to play the story line.....pffft can never keep a straight face while saying that

I tend to be prone to glitches. I would play on my cousins ps3 and still fall trough maps. Get caught under planks that didn't fall and be unable to move etc.BO2 looks interesting tho.

I play on the 360 and the worst I've ever had was getting stuck on a window that I was trying to jump through and the occasional insta-death spots. Lately, I haven't run into any more ID spots, but I do still get stuck trying to jump through a window every once in a while.

Lol you sound like my cousin. He keeps telling me that I'm glitch prone and he hasn't seen anybody fall through maps since beta.

I'll admit I'm intrigued I just hope it's not like last year where I played MW3 for a week and traded it right back in to get BF3 (My Love!!!)
