The game is disappointing. I doubt I'll be buying the next one.

So, its official, I am not picking that up during my next visit to our local game retailer.

Money goes to Halo 4 then.. or figs.. or wait till Christmas, then buy a Vita and P4G.. or save up for the rest of my college years and go on a graduation trip to Japan.

In reagards to the me2 thing. EA is giving away free copies of the trilogy to people who were affected.

Well, I had my fair share of doubts about how well this game would be. I'm honestly surprised by it; in fact, it's my new favorite Call of Duty. I never worried about that before. The campaign is simply bizarre (in a good way) and well thought out. I also have yet to touch the Zombies mode. The campaign and multiplayer alone make this game great. I hope Treyarch can surprise me again.

The hate for COD is warranted, all they do is recycle the same shit over and over again. They can take my money cause I wanna play the game with my friends, but that doesn't mean I'll be happy.

Lol seen the game play and its still the same shit, hell even zombies was the same. I am glad I did not pick this game up.

I got the game and in my opinion it's a hellova lot more fun than Halo 4. This game is actually more different than previous call of duty titles and many people who haven't actually played will just bash the game because it's apparently a "Trend" to hate the Call of Duty titles without giving them a shot -.-

Everybody bitches about how the game is like previous call of duty titles but you don't see everybody whining about other games that are rehashed.

Assassins creed, Final Fantasy, Gears of War, Fifa/Madden, Halo, Pokemon, Wrestling, And so on.

Black Ops 2 atleast has its own changes that brings something new to the game itself. Theres nothing wrong with the call of duty games, they're well made titles. shit games don't sell the amount what call of duty does, the people who hate it usually have no legitimate reason to hate it.

I think out of those rehashes, Pokemon's gotta be ridiculous. I mean, just how many colors do they plan to name the games after? The whole spectrum? Someone's gotta be running out of Pokemon names soon.

Honestly, I've played Call Of Duty when it came out for the PS2, and I liked the series. To me, I liked CoD because of the campaigns, however, the Modern Warfare series sort of disinterested me from the franchise. Yeah, I get that online multiplayer's a big thing now, thanks to Halo, but did they really have to drag out the storyline for THREE games? Now, I do play online every now and then, and while it can be fun, it just gets downright irritating. As for the MW storyline, MW3's just felt like it was rushed, almost as if IW worked on it for only 2 months before the game's release.

Really, Call Of Duty's an awesome series, but prior to Black Ops II, it would get boring after a while. Also, CoD can't be a shit series if it's selling MILLIONS. Yeah, the yearly releases are a bit much, but MILLIONS of players can't all be retarded for wanting to play any of the games, right?

I don't do it because its a "Trend" I have heard people say this isn't the worst Cod, Mw3 cant take that one but i'm not just going to sit here and buy another Cod to play the same thing again. I guess them fixing the knife was a big boost but being able to head glitch is still a problem they will never fix. lol trust me, I can tell all the problems in this game from game play because its Cod.

Except people whine about them all the time, some of them bringing up legitimate points as to why bringing the same old stale formula pushes back any progress while making the industry rot for the sake of appeasing casuals and getting sales.



What makes them "well made" titles? Is it paying 100$ for the full games, still using that outdated engine, poor PC ports, or those wonderful campaigns?

Also "shit" games don't sell for a variety of reasons, not because of the actual quality of the product. Otherwise shit games like Diablo 3, Mass Effect 3 and Fez wouldn't have sold well.

Overall you just want to feel like a victim because people are are being too critical of your favorite series. And that is sad.
Honestly I can nitpick all of the things that are "bad" about their recent games, or how they are negatively affecting the industry.

I didn't know the game was "$100" I could of sworn I got this and previous titles for $50-$60?
As for them using the same engine. It's not the developers fault but rather than the money hungry "Activision." Having to release a new game every year gives the developers a limited on much they can do to upgrade the games engine.

I think the "All your history belongs to us" machinima videos can help people understand a little more about the call of duty series.
