This could be a good game, thats true. But this isnt a Devil May cry, is just a way to make money using the name of a popular franchise.

Still, if someone were to play this new game and find it very good they could be interesting in playing some of the older DMC's, thus possibly drawing in new fans to the franchise.

While there is the possibility that they are just using the name to make more people interested it may be a real DMC game that really has something to do with DMC, we'll just have to wait and see.

People on both sides are getting too stuck on the looks of the character. Granted I hate the new look, and it is the first thing you notice (obviously), but the biggest worry is how is this going to change the story, the gameplay and whether or not this will kill the series (either through poor sales or just for the fans of the original games).

And where the hell did Dante's Rebellion go? It's not like the rest of the Devil Arms that he had to gather by defeating demons, it was left to him by Sparda. He has the knowledge/ability to create Ebony and Ivory and yet he's misplaced Rebellion? I'll have to see how this turns out but it just keeps looking worse and worse so far.

How the fuck did they know the gameplay by just watching fucking trailer? Have they watched fucking trailers of Fucking MMORPGS that doesn't have gameplay? After that you just discover that the game with "so awesome concept" is a fucking screw up

That's why I say on most trailers of games, it looks good. But the gameplay counts also on my side, BUT the storyline is best way to sell games most especially a title like Devil May Cry. They dodge a bullet saying it's a reboot, but as they get interviewed they try always to get it to be a part of the original Devil May Cry series, which makes me cry and rage.

Old School DMC Dante is not cool, then Japanesy, then they changed reboot to canon prequel vice versa depending on the interviews and now this! His clothing, didn't they know DMC2 had alternate clothes designed from DISEL? An inirect blow to that clothing line.

So they want to keep what's essentially recognizable about the character and franchise? You'd think that the white hair and Rebellion were bigger trademarks than his JACKET!... well, these guys really know what they're doing, since it's now clear that it's a reimagination of a "fashionista" game with a different but exactly the same story, that's actually a reboot that fits in the original storyline.

Were they on crack when they thought this shit up?... 'cause that would explain "Dante"'s new look and overall "feel" of the game. Also I'm not one to judge a person by looks, but DAMN... the two leading dudes at NT look like FUCKING IN-BREDS.
