can someone teach me the basics of Rhasta? I know what to get already like Horsestick, Blood Stone, Oblivion. But what do I do?

Rhasta's shackle can set up for many combos with your lane partner.I usually max it along with forked lightning.I get voodoo/hex only later as usually your mana is finished by the time you shackle + lightning or any other combo.

Standard 1 person combo is to cast wards nearby enemy,then shackle till life goes down about red and release to cast lightning.

Eul is great for rhasta if you know how to use cast tornado and wards to trap the enemy.

For me
I would get Blink Dagger and Blood Stone as core item. And team up with somebody when hunting heros. Anything after that I would get boots of travels and save all the money for revival...

always max out shackes... that's the first rule and most important rule... your second pick for skill should depend on your lane partner or if your gona go roam and gank...

if you have a stunner/holder/dps type as lane partner get hex... and if you have a slower as lane partner get lightning...

basic 1 man combo is wards in advance a little, net then focus your wards on hero, after net wears out cast hex... more efficient than the usuall hex then net setup as your target will take more hitts from wards that way...

if your going to gank then focus on immobilizing and disabling other heroes. even if you don't get to kill you get to help out your team a lot which often results in victories...

hey you fools forgot to mention that aghanims increases dmg and ward count for rhasta ult

and that it combos well with refresher and doubles as a hero killer and tower assault

Aghanim's Scepter+Refresher Orb+Eul's Divine Scepter+combo(Eul's wind+Ward x2 /w Refresher+transform+shackle)

overkill dead hero

good vs crazy str heros

hmmm for rhasta i always get Euls first and then work my way to get Bloodstone/Agha

Why Euls?,
1)Free Disable
2)Gives Plenty of time to synchro with wards
3)Gives plenty of time for allies to setup a gang bang

Next when to go for Bloodstone instead of agha
If your team is killing the enemies i suggest getting bloodstone, if your team is having a hard time killing get agha. Bloodstone would be better because of the fact that it gives massive +hp and +mp to int heroes

Next item i would get is Guinsoo afterwards you can work on Refresher Orb

guinsoo is pointless on rhasta

since rhasta has his own pet stick AND since both share the same cd

isn't the euls-SS any good anymore on rhasta? that guy usually owns when the enemy is stuck within the SS ^_^. unfortunately, it can be avoided via phaseboots...

and what's a horsestick?

I'm talking bout rhasta's own hex

which last longer by 1 sec which makes it better than guinsoo

and that both share a CD meaining its kinda pointless when you could have bloodstone/kelen's dagger/lothars/linkens filling that spot

I'm gonna check if they really do share the same cd, because i know is that they don't. Items and skills do not share the same cd which is why i saw some people getting blink daggers for akasha or magina before

man-gina has lvl 4 blink and (for this sake of the argument) has kelens dagger.

man-gina blinks and goes into cd.

now what would happen to kelens dagger?

It would go into cd PRECISELY BECAUSE its the same SKILL.

that same thing would happen to lions hex if lion had guinsoo too

actually blink and dagger don't share cd cause they have a different category... Blink is hero skill and dagger is item skill... same goes for ginsoo and hex...

I should know cause I abhor my teammate who always challenges me with his lion 1 v 1... and of course... his build is ginsoo dagon...

I really don't know where you get the idea that same effect = same cd, its not....

Blink dagger has a seperate cd from blink of magina/akasha

maybe from HoN... since bash there shares Cd...

EDIT:I forgot to mention, the game was already won so our magina decided to get a blink dagger to just FU on the enemies

but for most people they'd never get kelens with mangina or akasha

of course not, its just a slap in the face to the enemy to do that

or a way of ensuring survival... ether way getting dagger with blink heroes is just plain mockery IMO
