Yeah, since the story begins right in the middle of the 1st Dragon Age, when Lothering is destroyed. The devs have also said that many of the characters from the 1st game will also appear, though they haven't said wether as companions or just cameos.

Either way, if the DA2 is at least as long as DA1 I'll definately get it.

The trailer looked as epic as the first. I had gotten mixed opinions about the first one from my friends, but didn't let that stop me from playing it I just never invested time to do so. Hopefully when DA2 drops I'll give it a chance.

Hmm, good point. DA1 started development in 2004, and only came out last year. DA2 was announced what, late last year? And it's coming out next March. Don't seem like much time to me ..

but i wouldn't worry too much, it IS BioWare after all.

They could of already had a dev team working on a sequel when the first was still in production.

That, and they don't have to spend years on working on the game engine itself this time.

BioWare has announced new and the last DLC for Origins(They said that they will support Origins with DLC for at least 2 years... Riiiggghhhtt) entitled Witch Hunt.It will continue story of what happened to Morrigan after the Blight.(Honesty I was hoping that they gonna save it for the sequel :-()So this concludes discussion whether this will be part of a story in DA 2.

loved Dragon age and its expansion, also loved all the great mods for it. Cant WAIT for this beast to come out. Going to rock socks and break bank accounts.

Also, Morrigan was my first choice in romance, I too was hoping we learned of her fate in the second game. Hopefully Bioware does not disappoint. I want my waifu and *spoiler*

Bioware said that Morrigan's kid is not canon.

I'm loving Flemeth's armor. Looks fucking sick. I really hope that there will be new armor designs. One thing that always bugged me about DA:O was how similar each armor looked. But did she take over a female Qunari's body? Are horns are decorations or actual horns?

Hawke even looks more badass than Malcolm from the Sacred Ashes trailer. Which is no small feat. But I find it interesting that Hawke's eyes glow red, unlike Malcolm's which were blue. A clue perhaps?

Who said that this horned Qunari(cant remember their name)is actually Flemeth's new body?

I'm pretty sure it is. GameTrailer's wouldn't post something that's false up. If I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure BioWare has confirmed it themselves, seeing as:



is the concept art for Flemeth. So it's a safe bet that it is indeed her.

OK, if this is Flemeth's body, then why she's fighting with malee weapon and not magic? After all she is a powerful witch...

Who ever said that? She's hundred of years old, i bet she would've picked up a few skills here and there.

I'm more interested to know why the Qunari look different(compared to Sten), and what their reason is for invading.

Sten is a "special" Qunari, due to the fact that he has no horns. It's an abnormality, but not one that is looked down upon. If a Qunari is born without horns, it's supposedly a sign that they will do something important in their life.

Most Qunari's do have horns. It's just that there are a few that are special and Sten is one of them.

Besides I think Flemeth would look better as young, tempting lass with dark hair and Morrigan's beauty than ugly horned giant.I dont wanna force anyone to belive in my version of Flemeth's so lets drop it.We will find out when game is released.

hmm no where does it state that the qunari was flemeth, and the qunari died in the vid o.o;; i dont think flemeth would've died that easily, even if she were to fight, id think she'd transform into a dragon, why a qunari.

It's not the Qunari that Hawke was fighting. It's the female Qunari-looking one. The same one in my picture but just CGI. If you watch the trailer, she only flashes on for a little while. I suggest you take a look at the link archreaper990 posted. That video explains the trailer.
