as cool as that sounds, its not something i need. i dont even have that much of a difficult time with the game at lvl 30 and id rather have more to do in it then lvl up more or get more hp. plus the last time i did a mod for a game on pc, the fires of hell rose up and ate my comp.
Did you use Fallout Mod Manager and FOSE? Because without it, Fallout 3 will fail.

i did use the mod manager, but i never used fose. my friend was the one that went over the mods with me, but i dont remember him using it, and i never got it later. well... maybe i'll take a look at it again then

I always felt that the people in Fallout seemed kinda dead. Your character never really develops relationships with anybody. That includes followers. They're just mindless robots that shoot for you. I remember, at the end of broken steel, Sarah Lyons says to you something like "I wish we could have gotten to known each other better. Maybe if things were different..." and I'm like "WE CAN STILL GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER YOU STUPID IDIOT. DON'T WALK AWAY FROM ME"

Im just gonna get this out there.Anyone else feel truely alone while exploreing the wastes solo?I feel that often, and when i feel that,i truely felt that bethesida made a great game worthy of game of the year for 2008

Fallout 3, a good bethesda game but compared to the older ones this is the least. It resembles oblivion but don't be fooled because the skins, maps and engine are different. It also satisfied some flaws in their previous games (Oblivion) for me a solid 8/10. Oh and don't play this on the pc it crashes

Fallout 3 was a great game at first but once you beat it there is almost no replay value :( unlike in oblivion where no matter how many times you play through something can change and make the whole game a differnt way. i hope that bestuda does an even better job should they make a fallout 4 or something like this, the side quest were a bit annoying too. but they did do an overall good job consdering they picked the game up after it was started out like diablo.

The PC version is more fun because you can install mods for a new experience.

I don't know, I enjoyed playing it over again twice. Maybe I'm just weird, lol. But the ability to just pick and choose what you want to do quest-wise and how you want to do them does add to replay value. I was more or less a saint on my first playthrough, a total bitch on the second (picked male first, female second), and the third I just sort of did whatever.

Had a speed run of the game, it took me 70 hours on a school week to beat it, I also had the GOTY edition so all the dlc time runs are included.

Yes. If you're on the PS3 the game and DLC is on 1 Blu-ray disc. If you are on the Xbox its 2 discs. One for the game and the other for the DLCs.
