For the first two weeks of the game I didn't know I could use items outside of combat, looking back those were a long two weeks.

Hahaa~ Hey, don't knock the fountains, my man. They're the only reason guys like me were able to grind until we were strong enough to beat Lancer. Though, yeah, they do make things incredibly easier.

So I've been replaying Fate/Extra on my wait for Binary Domain, and I realized something:

What the hell is this number: "209,200 joules"?

It's a number that's repeated twice and never mentioned again. Ever. But yet it's just so specific that I can't regard it as a random number Nasu threw in. I'm dubbing this mystery

It is equal to the energy expended (or work done) in applying a force of one newton through a distance of one metre (1 newton metre or N·m), or in passing an electric current of one ampere through a resistance of one ohm for one second. It is named after the English physicist James Prescott Joule (1818–1889)".

What I glean from that is that it's an international measurement of energy, commonly associated with electricity, but mainly involves newtons.

...That's all I've got. I'm stumped on this one, everyone. Why is the number so specific? Why is it "joules" and not "degrees" or "volts"? Why is it mentioned twice over?
