This may one of the best Visual Novel I had Ever... ever play since a long time ago and one thing about this VN, my eye almost betrayed me by letting out tears from my eye

Since Kyousuke is portrayed as having two personalities, being both Kyousuke and 'Maou', it may be that in the routes of the other girls, Kyouhei never did exist, and Kyousuke was the 'Maou' that committed all the crimes without his knowing/right state of mind. His dark personality, or 'Maou', eventually disappears after finding peace and comfort in the company of one of the other girls.


This is a pretty good read afterall, though I hoped to see more of the other girls after his release. But as expected from AS2, it was really good right till the end. Thanks for the upload!

It's strongly hinted that way at first because Akabeisoft intentionally keeps switching between Kyousuke and Kyouhei's points of view, but then it turns out that Kyouhei was the one behind everything while Kyousuke just has some selective memory loss disorder. I'm not a fan of the alternate reality idea as Haru's route basically follows all of the other routes except for the parts where Kyousuke falls for other girls.

What do you think kyouhei was trying to say before he died? And i kinda not get his idea of needing kyousuke to atone by becoming a murderer.

That's precisely where I'm getting at, since it was strongly hinted at first, along with the convenient swaps. Nevertheless, Haru's route may be considered the 'true' route and the rest of the routes are all in an alternate reality, hence my assumption.

Ah geez for whatever reason I don't have voices playing on my copy. It's not a tremendous problem but I think it adds a whole lot of flavor... If anyone knows anything 'bout I'd like to know. I'm running Windows 7 in Japanese Unicode.

I had that problem with voices too, in my case the .rar file downloaded (twice) from this thread was corrupted or so my winrar says. Had to find the dvd image elsewhere and then install with that. If installing again using another file doesn't work for you than i don't know what else might.

Just finished the Haru route. This is my second Akabei Soft2 game (after Sharin no Kuni + it's fandisk) and it can't be denied. Akabei Soft2 is too fucking awesome.

Btw, what song is this based on?

haru's route. holy fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffuck. simply amazing. super duper awesome. what an emotional rollercoaster. and that song that played during the epilogue was so perfectly timed that whenever i hear it i can't NOT tear up.
i have not played many visual novels, but i have a hard time believing anything could top this as my #1. i have never been so emotionally moved by anything, ever. i will cherish these feelings.
thank you for this VN and for the upload. many reps... forever.
