Halo 4

I want to try out that new pistol!!! But I wished they would at least come out with a better name. Halo 4 sounds cheap.

I hope the Battle rifle returns, and no more armor abilities.

I can't possibly see how they could span this out over three more games. I'm hoping most loyal bungie fans will let this pass, but they probably won't.

Oh fuk berries. I waspleased with Reach, but now seeing a non-bungie create a new halo game (seems it takes place after the events of halo 3) it was best to leave our minds wander and imagine what happened next.

What's everyone's problem with ODST? I enjoyed it far more than I did Halo 2 and 3. The characters were actually likeable and a helluva lot easier to relate to than the Master Chief. The game added a nice subplot that spanned over Halo 2 and 3 that gave more insight on the fight for Earth. You could tell that Marty O'Donnell went all out on the music, giving the game a nice bluesy-noir feel during the free roam/investigation segments. Firefight was also a nice addition, and if you didn't buy the Halo 3 map packs (like me), then it was a total score. Sure, the game was short, but since when does that make the game bad when it's actually rather well made?

To be honest I'm very curious about the story for this new one. Wonder what aliens will appear this time, and in a way I kind of want to know if they'll change gamestyle to something interesting outside of the normal fps genre.

I can guess one baddie. The Flood. (they are not dead since teh graveminds loss, just highly disorganized)

I'm the opposite, battle rifles is quite a snore to use while armor abilities is highly entertaining.

The assault rifle is such a beautiful instrument of destruction for it allows my enemies to die within striking distance of my nether zones so I can teabag my victims.

Armor abilities is so awesome, yeah, I talking about when I spawn in middle of two dudes spawning at same time and they decide to kill me first. I either waste alot of their time in revenge for crappy spawning or I get to kill a guy or kill both. Who thought they was gonna get a freebie.

As long as it has a decent single player and co-op im there.

This year felt sort of underwhelming. Maybe I'm just growing up, arhrhggrhgrh.

had a decent talk with a gamer I met at wal-mart who was purchasing duke nukem forever. and he happen to mention 343 industries doing not only a halo 4. But also a halo 5 and 6, but I think those are just ghost stories and rumors. now he did confirm my thoughts on halo 4 taking place after the events of halo 3, and that the Halo: Combat Evolved remake is a separate game. that it is a 10 year anniversary edition.

but I wonder, is 343 industires going to treat Bungies halo series with teh up most importance and stick with the history/facts held withing the rumored halo bible?

I have some confidence in them. 343 was pretty much built around the Halo franchise and has worked in numerous Halo projects such as Waypoint and Halo Legends. If I'm not mistaken, I believe a good number of 343 members were a part of the Halo dev teams before Bungie left to go make some new games. If so, then Halo 4 is in good hands.

Well, i'm wondering if it will follow the onyx arc from the books, if not, then the series is going on its own tangent, Which could be epic or a complete flop. I guess we all just have to wait and see. I hope they can keep this series alive and well.

I just happen to find out that bungie has a "Quitters Probation/Ban" I am wtf. I quit a few games cause I have a life yet you do not like me leaving to deal with it. I hope 343 does not do that annoying probation/ban as they make halo 4, 5 and 6

That only effects the people that repeatedly quit matches when they're loosing or get butthurt by better players. Quitting in the middle of the match like that really screws your team over, unless you suck. Hence, the Quitters Probation. But if you drop out of a match every far less frequently because of something you have to do, you should be fine.

As long as Eric Nylund is on the writing team, I'm pleased with how the story will end up. He probably isn't though because of his Mortal Coils series, though.

When you said that they were making Halo 5 and 6 as well, those aren't rumors my friend. The group actually announced that this was going to be another trilogy, so 3 more games.

ah okay thanks. well if 343 wants me to play the other two. they better dam well impress me in halo 4 >.> if they can't do that to this hardcore halo fan, they can go jump off a cliff for all I care.
