Back to topic at hand. I am syked for halo 4. new enemies, a spaceship filled with 300 or so spartan 4s and however many marines crashing on teh planet, and a possible appearence of teh didact from the forerunner book saga? just bout a recipe to blow my mind.

Wow this thread needs to receieve a quick revive before the game is released. Hmm lets see where to start the recap of all the things missed. A breif summary will be mad with a link to more info about it below in the spoilers.

Flood is the new infected. As the change states, you play as flood infected spartan 4's with claws.
No longer a rank system like reach, but just a level up one like in rpgs.
No forge world this time, but three very awesome looking maps, one of which is a huge surpirser

A mech called the mantis and a new way to teabag, and to top it all off. A map remake reveal. The mantis will be part of the campaign too
Some old, new, and returning weapons of the three factions. yes that is right three. Covenant, Promeathen, and UNSC.
The elephant will not make a return, but will be replaced with a newer larger cousin the mammoth.

No Firefight in halo 4, but has been replaced with a new mode called "spartan ops". which stated by 343 will be longer then halo 3 odst.
Armor abilities make a return too, some new, some old.

Foward unto dawn just started recently. A 5 part live action webseries based on the captian of the UNSC infinity in his early days. An episoe will be released every friday for the next 4 weeks.
Halo 4 limited edition is 99.99+tax and will be in very limited quanties. Only a preorder will gurantee you a copy. Comes with a wargames pass for all dlc's, a 90 minute extended cut of forward unto dawn, and other bonus content.

Well looking at the new ranking system its like they mixed CoD with Halo. H4 may just very well shit so hard upon everything that it will break the earth's crust. Im looking forward to how this will gloriously play out

Halo 4 has been leaked 3 weeks before its release, and there are now swarms of assholes on the net trying to ruin it for everyone, especially on youtube in the comments on anything halo 4 related. They managed to track it to the production line from what I hear, and I hope to god people get fired. -_- There are links below plus a vid from ign on the news. So, anyone else see this kick ass mini-series? Wasn't really sure where to place this, but thought games would have to do until someone could give me a proper answer. Anyway, for those who have seen it, do you think this does the franchise justice or no? If you haven't seen it, say so, and I'll get the episodes up as soon as I can.

This it itself is a mini series, mate. It does deserve it's own thing, considering it's not a trailer or add-on. Hell, you wouldn't put info of a Iron man game in the same thread as the movie.

They have now announced the titles of the 3 dlc's for the game. They are Crimson, Majestic, and Castle map packs. All containing 3 new maps. Crimson which is coming in December, majestic which will come in February, and Castle which is expected in April.
