Does anyone know if the ending is different for beating the game on legendary?I've only heard that there isn't a bonus/different cutscene like in Halo 3.

I don't know about emotional. For me it was like, I knew what was going to happen so I spent the whole time hopping they'd suprise me and NOT make the ending be exactly what I was expecting.
So when I did see the end, I was already prepared and was like "Well darn, that really sucks..."

Firstly, the DMR is a beast, I find it better than Halo 3's Battle Rifle.

I got a total bullshit death...
My friend and I were playing Team Snipers at The Cage. I kept getting amazing snipe kills to the point that I got a running riot. I was thinking to myself, "Holy shit, this might be my first perfection..." Right when I went to get the last kill, I fucking get sniped! I headdesk'd horribly...
At least I got best rank though... =.=

Im disappointed with the melee system, you shoot a whole clip of an assault rifle into your enemy, run out of ammo, go to beat him down, then have to do it twice? what the fuck? And sometimes it doesnt even work, I miss the Battle rifle

I am very satisfied with getting Halo Reach. The graphics, the plot, the action are all awesome and surpasses the previous Halo games. I am also satisfied with the campaign, if you play on easy, the AI is easy to kill, play it on Normal, killing them gets a little bit more difficult, and so forth and so forth. I am also pleased with forge world and firefight 2.0
To keep it short, this was the best 105 dollars I spent (Note I purchased the Limited edition Halo Reach and Limited edition Strategy guide)

I'm willing to bet you were playing that mission in legendary. That is an elite carrying a datapad, the respected collectible for this halo. There isn't any achievements attached to it, but a little lore to read up on if you feel like collecting. There's about 18 in all I believe, happy hunting!

Maybe i wanted to get it because of the extras (98 pages of concept art, developer commentery, etc.) Maybe I got it because I just wanted to get one, maybe I just got it because I am a Halo Fan that not only buys the game and buys the strategy guide so when I beat the game, I can go back and perfect my skills on campaign using the strategy guide.
I am not being hateful or disrespectful, but that kind of question deserves this kind of response.

Well I've decided to tackle Legendary... alone. It can't be as bad as beating World at War on Veteran, but there have already been a few moments where I wanted to rip my hair out.
At the same time though, I've had some lawlfully awesome bugs. First one I saw was an Elite with a Plasma Rifle getting stuck on the stairwell, which apparently rendered him useless because I just ran right up in front of him and pummeled him to death. Second, which wasn't much later, an enemy Ghost got stuck on a tiny little rock and I just snipped the pilot. *shrugs*

Ah, you should've included that. I gladly take back what I said.

The Legendary has got a bit harder but some things seem too weak like if your in a vehicle one heavy weapon shot kills you so there's no point using most of the vehicles is you rely on an AI & the sword it pointless too cause it takes 2 hits most the time. Only did 2 levels so far on Legendary.
Is there a part in the game that only happens if you find all the datapads?

Kind of Important
A ray of Tsunlight.
It was a hell of a steep learning curve for this campaign. I'm not used to Elites that can kick me and kill me in pretty much one shot. Their sheilds are stronger, they're faster, their guns always seem to be better (Until you try to use it anyway) And boy do they love throwing huge numbers at you.
I've been resisting Multiplayer until I get the Campaign out of the way, just cause I feel like it this time.
