Yeah, I did it the way I was supposed to, I even took a pic of me stomping on that Elite like Mario did to so many turtles.



Also, after looking around on the bungie website and bringing up my weapon stats, I found that I was apparently killed by an unknown weapon during the campaign.

OMG, it is the dreaded Traffic Cone of WTF!!!

The humanity. Will it ever stop killing us?

Haha, traffic cones. I've killed myself once by shooting one of those with sniper in halo 3.

Halo Physics. Traffic Cone > Sniper.

On topic, I love Reach. Only prob is my 360 is dieing so despite beating the campaign on Heroic, I got disk read errors the second before the achievement registered. Still unlocked the next chap, but no achiev. So I have achievs for like 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, and 10 lol despite having beat it.

I just finnished it on Legendary I tried the easter egg thing at the end of the PILLAR OF AUTUMN, but nothing happened.

I'm actually a lil bored with the game at this point :/ finished story on legendary ,and got to lt colonel in mp...but the thought of getting some armor that is basically useless just doesn't appeal to me so playing mp just to level seems boring..anyone got any suggestions ?

I'm not a big halo fan but i was happy with the campaign and i'm in love with score attack firefight

I've been playing the special firefight modes with my friends online. Gruntacolypse and Sniper Fight are my two current favorites. Maybe you should try them out? Go see what the rest of the game has to offer before getting rid of it, know what I mean?

Ok I just finished the game and I found the ending to be a bit lacking.

Some of the weapons were whack but overall the game was pretty cool but the vehicles were all right.

Is it true that Dreamworks and Steven Spielberg are making the halo movie? Somehow just having dreamworks in it makes me think it's going to be bad, and I think Steven is just going to just slap his name on it and not actually direct it.

The Halo movie may be too big for even Spielberg to handle. I wish it was James Cameron or Peter Jackson doing it. Still have high hopes for it though.

game was absolute pants.. poor framerates and a tired and repackaged concept. last game in the series or not, ill never buy another halo game ever. ive never been so bored playing anything in my life

I believe I tried Halo Reach at my friend's place recently. The melee weapon which looks like an axe or hammer deals out quite a bit of damage... which I kinda like, although it can only be used at close range.

I thought the firefight mode gets repetitive after a while. Then again, I may not be in any position to comment since I am not exactly a hardcore gamer.

You my friend are talking about the Gravity Hammer. I personally favor the energy sword over the grav hammer anytime since you can make a lunge at your enemy and close distance pretty fast.

But on the gametype Juggernaught, you have to use the gravity hammer. But don't worry, they will come to you.

Rocket Race is where it is at. I don't spend a lot of time on Reach's multiplayer, but when I am, I spend the must time on Multi-Team and I always choose Rocket Race. That game type is just a blast.

There is still plenty of fools that don't pay attention to how loud my jetpack is, so i get to play all this hot angel of death by dropping behind the fools humping their dmrs and shooting across the map and assassinate them the flashy way.

Slayer Pro is especially great for this, however, no equipment except for sprint is allowed xD Still can get so many assassinations tho.

That's only thing i like about halo reach, yeah it pretty much sucks lol. And played campaign twice and that was enuff lawl.

Well got my 360 back and I am resuming my Halo Reach. Found out something interesting. On the campaign level "The Pillar of Autumn", when you arrive at the ship yard, and kill the covenant in the first area, head to the right of the area, and go to the trucks, and drive one of them.

I got bored and figured I do some exploring on the "The Pillar of Autumn" level on Heroic, killed every covie in the area of the first area after arriving at the shipyard, and I walked to the passenger side of the truck and it promted me to "Hold x to enter passenger side", so I went to the other side of the truck and it promted me again "Hold x to drive truck". So I did, and I was lol when I was driving around in the truck. Sadly I didn't try running over the covie in it to see if it was fast enough to kill them. But I do know that it has the backing up "beep, beep, beep" noise.

I learned to love Halo reach at a parody called "Awesome Reach" By egoraptor, the video was all about going crazy because of a game and then I think "that looks fun" so i tried out the game XD It was good but you die before you even respawn. @_@

I am curious. is it worth my time adn money to go to gamestop and buy teh Noble map pack. I mean it is snowing like crazy out here where I live adn not to mention freezing.

Eh, I'd say wait for the snow to stop, but other then that, it's pretty worth the money if you play enough Halo to compensate the, what, $10 it costs?
