The new Online Co-op game from Valve is on its way November 17th of this year. Coming on PC & 360 i'm totally pump in getting it, since i love games which requires intense cooperation with friends / other players just like Counter-Strike & Team Fortress 2.
The story is quite simple, 4 people immune to this virus which turns people into zombies have to survive.
There's 2 modes. Team Deathmatch and the Scenario.
The scenario has 4 acts, 5 maps in each of them, which are told to be huge. Each of those acts have bosses which need to be killed and thousands of zombies you need to survive through to get to the end.
Team Deathmatch is 1 human team ( 4 people) vs 1 Boss Team, yep thats right, 4 guys will be playing the bosses from the scenario, while they don't have guns, they have all the bosses abilities. Which might be interesting and a lot of fun
The co-op seem to be very intense. For example each member have 3 lives, though when you die the first time you don't respawn, an other team member must heal you up ( takes about 5 second) to rez you. Same thing has healing yourself up / helping someone whose grabbing hold to a ledge and might fall to is death , etc. So you won't see a Rambo, charging up infront and clearing the whole level, because he's going to have about 300 zombies on his ass and one of them is going to jump on him and beat the shit out of him. And will die because teammates won't have time to respawn him :3.
Very excited for this game, going to get it on Steam! Going to be a great game to play with friends :3

I'm pretty excited about this game since I got friends that would play this with me, but I'm not sure if it'll be fun shooting waves of zombies after a bunch of times and I don't think you can drive vehicles in this game. Nonetheless I'll have to see for myself once this game is released for the PC.

all out shotting. None the less i see myself stressed playing this game. I don't think it will get boring quick, new maps will be added knowing Valve & content. Can't be more boring than any other shotter that are all the same

It's supposed to be the ultimate-survival horror, because there are no scripted elements at all, and the enemy has a hyper-intelligent AI, or so I hear from Game Informer

I like how the difficulty raises with how good your group is and whether or not to swarm you with zombies or not. I really can't wait for this.

Its Valve, they always manage to create one of gaming best AI. I got a whole lot of friends pump to play and i pre-ordered it too. I'm so fucking excited. Too bad we still got 3 months to wait :P
i can only imagen me on Ventrilo screaming all the time about random stuff. I guess the slow moving Ghouls are the pass and now its Ultra speed super humans :P Those that choke you to dead seem stressing also XD;
You should also watch part 1.

I think this game will turn out alright, but I doubt the game play will last very long, but I guess the cool thing about this game is definitely the AI, as it knows to give you a little break after you've just been swarmed by a hundred zombies, and also how it changes where the zombies spawn each time :P

Played it at PAX today. Shot a Boomer, got cover in god only knows what, and saved a fellow survivor from a Smoker's tongue. Only got to play from the start of the hospital to the first safe room, but it was fucking awesome. Also, the whole AI director thing works.

Notice anything about the hand? It's got 4 fingers, it's most likely dead...but it's a right hand! They would have gotten the whole thing down in one image had whoever designed it decided on a left hand!
