Legend of Dragoon

I've heard good things about this game but my PS1 broke and I don't plan to pirate this game. If they did remake this I'll try it out.

Its a pretty good game I still have it and PSone. I too have played through the game at least 5 times, but I am never able to finish it the last place I remember stopping at is in the desert area after the twist/suprise?(Last disc I think) I would love to see some type of remake/sequel for this game surprise they haven't done anything for it yet. To answer your third question it a possibility last one I can't really think of anything right now.

@DonkeyFace: If you have a PS2 or a PS3 you can simply rebuy the disc set online (: i re-bought the game a couple of years back. It is worth the 20$ you'd be spending (: trust me this game is really good :D

@megablue9: Are you talking about after Dart learns that Rose was indeed the Black Monster? If so I believe you are on the 4th disc my friend ^-^

The thing is my area doesn't sell PS1 games anymore and I don't think they sell the game on PSN so only choice I got left is to pirate which I don't plan to do.

I agree about the addition system. While it was by all means something original and creative, it was simply painful to master them all (and you had to if you wanted to beef up your characters enough =\). Plus, money and exp farming was pure torture, as only a handful of enemies in the whole game dropped good amount of them (and even then, you had to spend hours upon hours to gain levels).

Flaws aside, it was a very good game and I enjoyed playing it, even though I never managed to beat the final boss ç_ç . Maybe one of these days I'll wipe the dust from the disks and retry =D .

@freakytenor: I will agree the additions voice-overs did become quite annoying overtime, but nevertheless i enjoyed it. I will also say that their voice-overs on the dragoon magic and stuff was occasionally completely wrong. (lol) Have you ever tried the game Chrono Cross? I never owned it, I had only played it when visiting family, but it was definitely a good game. I'm currently looking into buying a copy of that as well. I will gladly go check out Legend of Legaia. @DonkeyFace: The only store you'd find any PS1 games is a thrift store which i doubt you'd find that specific one in good working condition. I ordered mine online and got it within a week. Just do some research online and purchase it when possible. You will not be disappointed. ;)

@pihip: I agree some of the additions are a pain such as with Haschel the martial arts king lmao. some of his attacks were more sporadic than rhythmic. For training try to find a good place with a save point as well as a free healing place such as fireflies. The home of the Gigantos is a good one. That's where i farmed my gold/exp and got almost all of my dragoons to level 5. Hope the advice helps. Also when fighting the final boss Melbu Frahma be sure to only use the dragoon form on the first 2 forms. my party was Dart, Albert, and Rose. With Rose's Final Addition mastered and the dragon buster she can knock out easy 1000's :) Good luck with the dusting.

Anyways, if they did make a remake, I'll definitely buy it. I still have my copy for the Playstation which I bought in 2009 since I lost my first one when the game first released. Bought it from Amazon for $15 USD, but now that I just checked, the priced pretty much doubled.

Yeah already knew that I think it was the other twist then you end up in a desert with those quicksand holes I think..

Love it still always will. 4 wonderful discs and My bro and I bought a second copy because our 4th disc kept messing up finally we got a disc cleaner and now have 8 discs XD not for sale!!!

@AliceSinWonderland: Its a good idea to keep all of your discs. You never know what may happen, like a random earthquake or hurricane. ;P (lol) I am also fairly sure EVERYONE hated Miranda she was so bitchy and not nearly as cute as Shana D:

Loves that this game can be played on the ps3... if you're willing to start all over again then good luck finding all those stardusts --I has the list!!!

Hehehehe I have this game sitting on my shelf, has been for year. Never could beat it though, something always comes up. Definatly a very fun game and one I enjoy to this day. I may play through it sometimes again. Also ePSXe Awesome program.

You know what I would also like to see? A game based on what happened 10,000 years ago. That'll be bad. ass.

@AliceSinWonderland: I have found all 50 stardust before and I shall do it again! ;D I agree Kongol's moves were a bit basic compared to the others :P My favorite moves were: Rose - Demon's Dance, Dart - Blazing Dynamo, Albert - Gust of wind dance. :3 and lastly, sure Albert may have been more like a pretty boy for the girls but the bond between Lavitz and Dart was wonderful. ^-^
Nevermind I thought of something before posting. When Lavitz dies and when dart visits Lavitz's home at the end credits for the drinks they promised to have together, I always cry D:

You gotta beat it!!! I'm sure there are good walkthroughs to go through to help you. Though you could do without them if you wanted. If you need help with Melbu Frama or the Moon segments, I'm sure there's a way to get help for that. I can provide as much information for you as possible

Ehh it wasn't so much the fact that it was too hard, Im pretty damn patient so griding a few lvls isn't a problem. I also tend to favor Gamefaqs when im stuck. It usually ends up stoping when when something like my contoler screws up, my ePsx crashes after ive just played 3 hours without saving and managed to get a crap ton of rare drops (Im really bad about saving), or i get distracted by another game.

Ill beat it eventually though, currently playing through Recettear right now so it'll take a while.
