Geez, people actually believed this troll? Unless TakaJun says the project is dropped, IT IS NOT DROPPED. The guy has a life, and people just need to have faith that he'll get it done eventually on his own time. We've gotta be patient, and people have got to stop bitching or he might actually decide to drop the project. Remember, this is something he's doing for no money and no profit and just wants to give us a way to enjoy the game. It's his kindness, and we have no right to abuse it.

Seriously sorry for necrobumping this thread, but is there any word at all on the progress of translation on this godly game? Either I'm looking around on the wrong websites or I cant find much information regarding on how its going.

You know what? I don't really care about that 'I'm busy' excuse. Of course it can be the reason why progress on the game has seriously slowed down, but you can't tell me with a straight face that during half a year he couldn't find the time during a break or something to grab his phone and post a quick update regarding status quo.
Perhaps nothing has changed and that's alright, he has his own life to deal with. But just let people know what's going on after such a long time. He might have no obligation to do so, but it's only fair for fans of the game to know what to expect at the moment.

I'm sorry to say it, but I agree. I know I'm at risk of sounding entitled, but it's been so long since his last post. At this point I'd rather have him do one of two things (if it were up to me):
1.Post an update telling us he hasn't quit yet. (I seriously doubt the current update is proof enough)
2.Or just pass the patch to another group that's willing. I mean come on, if you have no time to even update the status, why go on? I understand that he maybe holding on because he loves doing it, or wants to get it done with his name on it, but damn, life has you by the balls.

He actually insisted on finishing the Miyako route himself due to consistency within the translation. The remaining routes could be picked up by someone else, but usually a translator wants to have his own project and not clean the mess up left by others.
And excuse us for wanting to enjoy a great visual novel? Not sure what you were trying to accomplish by telling us off like that with baseless accusations.
