Majikoi (English) (Wanko Patch Get)

I actually do some translation work for manga scanners and I'm still an active one depending on the source material. It's not difficult to just play the game and write a script page by page. At most it takes me a month to finish a whole volume and Im telling you the manga I do are pretty damn lengthy and I also do take into a account how long a VN game is.

If Yandere so chooses, he could've just dumped the translated script in a word document and let us play it without programming anything. I think it's safe to say he failed us.

At this point, I'm just gonna go learn japanese. Majikoi is too good to pass up because of things like this. Good luck to all those that still have faith.

Just wondering, but is there any translation group or anyone, really, that would consider finishing translating this?

I mean, it couldn't possibly just have been that place, right?

Is this before or after the latest patches have been added?

Sorry for the delayed response. It's just the game, you'll need to download the patch separately.

I'm pretty sure we need to be prepared for him not finishing it. Although its strange that if he is this busy he didn't just see if someone else was capable of picking up from where he left off, I mean the patch has to at least be 90% done by now.

So apparently some peeps over at fuwanovel have decided to work on translation for both the Miyako and Agave route! Progress is being made as we speak.

Already started learning how to read japanese katakana and hiragana, the patch is meaningless to me, can't always wait for someone else to translate for me (been waiting for F/HA for YEARS now). You guys enjoy it though.

Damn it, waiting is hard! I can't play this bcoz Miyako's route has to be the first route I finish (wen I decide the order of routes to play in a game I dnt change it no matter w@). DAMN IT, Somebody finish translating this even in Majikoi S, Momoyo's route isn't finished!!! The Horror.

Yeah, but a year and a half? Damn that is just insane. At this point you could have learned enough japanese to read the raw yourself.

Not too bothered by it as I'm not into Miyako that much but I do feel the pain for those who are still waiting. BELIEVE.

Sorry to those I inevitably got excited by bringing this topic to the front page, but I'm looking for trouble with a glitch I'm having.
I felt like replaying some majikoi and have run into an odd problem: the game is acting as if I'm constantly scrolling up, making it unplayable.
There's no error reports or anything of the sort to evaluate, so I'll go into some detail on what's happening.
From the get-go, as soon as you're at the menu screen, the game starts filtering through all the options at a rapid speed as if you're holding the up arrow or scrolling up. If you manage to get into the "Load Game" menu, it's more of the same, constantly scrolling up making it neigh impossible to select the load you want. Once in game this continues, this time bringing up the history box ( the thing to see past lines) and scrolling up through it. The only place this doesn't happen is the ending skit, which doesn't have a history to scroll up through. Hitting escape/right clicking closes the history box, but then it immediately resumes scrolling up. I've tried pressing every mouse/keyboard button I have, it did nothing productive.

Ive tried unplugging both my keyboard and mouse (separately, both before and after starting the game) and this had no effect.
I'm running windows 7 and HAVE built a new computer since the last time I played (though that computer used the same copy of win7), I keep my VNs on an external hard drive. That said, I've tried re-installing the game a few times to no avail. One try on the external, and twice on the local HDD.
Any ideas?

Edit: figured it out... had a controlled plugged in from playing Tera, had to disable it with startuptools.exe
