Well, Air Combo also depend on the character, even when you use the same combo, some characters are easy to execute some aren't so easy. So, do some experiments to find it.It's hard for me to use chun-Li to start an Air Combo, because I'll accidentally activate Lightning Kick instead with my fast fingers... lol and she usually mess up the Team Aerial with the same move... lol
I find that Dormamu doesn't like sticking to the game plan when I try to get a team arial combo going. The enemy often gets away from him, effectively ending the combo before I could switch a new fighter in to keep it going. Deadpool and Taskmaster, however, work really well for such matters.
How does one get away from a combo without a burst? This isn't BlazBlue or Arcana Heart.
Team aerial combos can be countered, though this is more of a case of dropped combos.

That's what I figured.
I tend to always counter the down exchange so the opponent can't gain easy meter, though after a while, you figure out tendencies from other players and you'll go with those.

You throw out lightning kicks because you're mashing. Press only one button at a time with a purpose, although I'll admit to mashing jabs.Lol, I was going for either do an LL or HH start up, but I always ended up with one extra lol.
Never happened to Capt' or my Dante, because they don't have that certain move.. lol
I can still do a basic air combo with Capt' (LL Down H, S), but when I use Chun-Li, the "extra input" is always counted even though I want to do the same basic combo.
BTW, I don't play using a joystick (or whatever you call it ) I only play with your normal controller "shape-shifted" into a joystick by positioning my fingers like a joystick.
Need to train to time the right input.
About Aerial combo fail, it's more of a late hit timing than the opponent getting away. Also, the slight tilt on the direction effects too, because sometimes, I accidentally press the opposite direction, resulting in ME getting away from the opponent.. lol

fyi - Lightning legs along with other mashout moves like Blanka electricity in sf requires no less than 5 taps for the move to come out.

I did not know that. Wow, I guess that's why Honda players need to piano their inputs for hundred hands. I guess that's also why I don't see a lot of high level Chun's use lightning kicks randomly. 5 inputs is a lot of inputs.

How to win easy againt a tema that has phoenix
1. Use Snapbacks to kill phoenix first.
2. don't let them build their Gauge.
3. Use snapbacks

lolno. Dark Phoenix can still be beaten, just like any other character. Granted, she is extremely powerful, especially if the player controlling her was smart and saved level 3 xfactor for her, but all you need it one combo finishing with a hyper to kill her. Alternatively, good beam supers like Shinku Hadoken and Proton Cannon get decent chip on her, unless they pushblock, or have x-factor.
This is why you snap her in before they get 5 bars. Watch Wednesday Night Fights or their archive matches on youtube, you'll see thats what the top players do to kill her. Keep the pressure on her.

That is very ignorant. If you were playing against anyone who's any good, they would snap Phoenix in the first chance they had and kill her. If you do manage to get Dark Phoenix, you still need to know what you're doing. One combo and she's dead. It doesn't matter if she's out and you have level 3 X-Factor.
People do know how to play this game. At Wednesday Night Fights, Justin Wong won using Zero, Felicia, and Doom and beat both Clockwork and Floe, both of whom are good players in their own right and using Phoenix. Players who know what they're doing are not scared of Phoenix. No one should be if they're smart about handling it.
I suppose however, the online community isn't any good. I give them too much credit.

anti bug spray
Facts
-Phoenix has the Lowest health.
that's enough to even beat her.

I think she's going to end up high teir though, if she's played by a skilled player. She has a lot of tools, and gets very powerful once DP activates. The problem is that she changes your team dynamic though.
- You can't use hypers until DP activates.
- You need to save your x-factor for her.
- You can't use her as an assist, if she gets caught while assisting, she's probably dead.
- She's vulnerable to snapback.
Essentially, it's a 2 on 3 fight until you get Dark Phoenix, and even then you have to be cautious. Sentinel can kill her with his BnB, if I recall correctly.

Debating should I get it or not. IF I do get it today what a good team to start off with? I wanted to try Zero, Tronne Bone and Sentinal
Never mind. I will get it today. PSN is Izzy251.

Tron's Gustaff Fire is a great assist. I'm not sure with Zero, I haven't used him. I hear he builds meter quick though. Sentinel is the same beast as always.

OMG! I just got a 5-game streak on ranked. Either people really suck or I'm not as bad as I thought. I figured I was a bottom of the barrel player.
I still need a 3rd character. Rolling with Chris and Skrull right now (awesome for people who love to fly around the screen). Any recommendations?
