Simply learn to dodge better or use a character that is highly agile and pressure them like Chun-Li or Dante.

Teleport behind them with Wesker/deadpool/Dante

go play it over at a friends house because thats what i did. MvC2 is fun. i dont have it but i always go play it at the acrade, its a great way to meet new people, just save up for MK9, but its your choice

My friend just played MvC for the first time yesterday, and after many attempts and practices he actually cornered me once.

Lol, Spencer noobs about to hit netplay in force real soon..

It's difficult for me to play online, so I normally stick to offline with friends. You're correct about the soon to be rise in Spencer players, but you'll see the same with any team that wins an event. He looks like he can be paired well with Doom and Tron though. Doom's Hidden Missiles can be used to cover him while he grapples in, and Tron's Gustaff Fire to keep the pressure on once he's in close. The problem is that this team lacks decent AA, so it has a weakness there. Still, I'll take it to practice mode and see what I can come up with.

What are people's favourite assists right now?

Which character is the easily to use. I find that dante is quite user friendly, other than that is the iron man. I find it quite hard to use Morrigan. The damage did by Morrigan is less than a lot of character.
