You know, I put Vergil last for that exact reason. Vergil backed by Hawkeye's arrows = free teleports that lead into combos. I just screwed up big time in that match.

Because Dante was near death and he didn't want to waste meter since Strider was his anchor. He wanted to save his meter for Strider's lvl 3 orbs so he could activate lvl 3 X Factor and rush/mix-up Vergil & Hawkeye.

I don't know I think I would have spent the meter and finish my plate so at least it's just vergil alone, even if it is dark vergil, I don't want hawkeye and his assist hanging around, but that's just me

Yeah, but you got to remember, that's what Max does 85% of the time, in his matches, when he has Strider as an anchor.

I guess he was expecting me to raw tag or something, haha.

I never thought Max was any good, and I think Max has a little Wong Factor when he plays Online. He gets really lucky and people just do stupid stuff when they play against him. I can't say I enjoy his stuff anymore. Not to mention he's just another Capcom fanboy.

I do enjoy the fact that he is willing to help people in marvel 1 on 1 style (find someone famous that does that nowadays) I actually really enjoy his 3rd strike videos rather his marvel ones to be honest, I actually don't care about his Capcom love cause he is not throwing capcom in your face nor is he saying everything else is trash. Not that I'm defensing the man, I'm just saying he could be worst, also I'm never seen someone enjoy 3rd strike so much before

So yeah, I'm gonna take a pseudo-break from UMvC3 for a few days. I might play it occasionally just to work on my Dante and Spider-Man teams but I've been playing really terrible recently and it wasn't just in Max's lobby. Time to focus on Jun/Asuka in TTT2 and Yu in P4A.

wake up supers aren't bad in games when you can roman cancel, just in games where you can't.....like marvel, I'm going to be honest, I would have gotten blown up by that too because no one does it, therefore a smart person wouldn't expect dumb shit from a goodish player
