Doing a wakeup DP or super is dumb.
It working is even dumber.
So yeah, I'm gonna take a pseudo-break from UMvC3 for a few days. I might play it occasionally just to work on my Dante and Spider-Man teams but I've been playing really terrible recently and it wasn't just in Max's lobby. Time to focus on Jun/Asuka in TTT2 and Yu in P4A.
wake up supers aren't bad in games when you can roman cancel, just in games where you can't.....like marvel, I'm going to be honest, I would have gotten blown up by that too because no one does it, therefore a smart person wouldn't expect dumb shit from a goodish player
You might see wakeup supers if you can DHC.

Was recently watching a lot of my old videos and forgot that I had this.
I miss Tron Bonne's great comboability from Vanilla MvC3. Could have extended that combo a bit more if I hit the H.laser, j.S, M.laser, Super for about 900,000 damage. I just don't find her damage out put to be great anymore in UMvC3.

Yea, I did miss seeing people use her, but hey, she drops out of combos do to her hit box, and she still has a lot of hp, so it's not that bad for tron bonne

I've started to play Rank matches online. I'm a 4th Lord now. My record is... 150-30? Something like that. I'm playing Virgil/Wesker/Hawkeye or Zero/Frank West/Taskmaster. I started 50-0 getting to 7th pretty easily. Getting to 4th hasn't been so easy.

How do you connect Felicia's j.M after a Toy Catch OTG or Help Me Please? When doing it against the training dummy, it always air recovers while I land it, so just goes right through them. I'm trying to do a reset (after Help Me Please or after a command or normal grab --> Toy Catch, do j.M ,j.M, j.H, j.S, M, H), but I can't even land the first j.M.
I guess my problem is inputing M fast enough after the jump, but I'm hoping there's some trick to pulling off ground to air combos (other than not sucking, cuz it is very probable that I can't do ANY)....

Man, I've gotten soft in terms of fighters recently, I need to spend some time in the lab to get back what I've lost and get even better than I was before, seeing Koga's progress to Master Lord and personal reasons are pushing me to do so.

I do crouching LMHS, air MMH, Air Delta Kick(backwards Shoryuken motion), standing H, S, air MMHS, dash back, Sand Splash, Dancing Flash.
Sand Splash is a charge move, so when you're relaunching them, immediately hold back after you knock them to the ground, then dash back and press forward + attack.

Wow, that almost exactly what I was doing (yours has more steps, so it's better, lol). I was doing L, M, S, j.M, j.M, j.H, Air Delta Kick (H), then I either relaunch (during the ground bounce offa the Air Delta) with S and then do j.M, j.M, j.H, H Air Delta Kick again, or do Dancing Flash or Help Me Please during the ground bounce instead.
Imma try that Sand Splash instead of simply relauncing with S. At the very least it'll be a whole extra special that I can stick in before I use my super/hyper. But that input seems tricky....are you saying that I need to hold back, then (while continuing to hold back) do a 2button back dash, and then push forward + attack?? *sigh* time for practice....

Yeah, pretty much lol. I play on an arcade stick so it really didn't take me that long to adjust.

You should be two button dashing in MvC anyway. It's such a fast game, and two button dashes give you much more mobility.
LMHS, jMMH, Air Delta Kick, HS, JMMHS, Dash Back, Sand Splash, Super. You can't do a second Air Delta Kick because the opponent will tech out of it, but you can set up resets that way. Instead of going for max damage, it might be better to end your combo with Toy Touch then go for the air grab reset with Felicia. Her throw range is huge. The Max damage combo isn't that damaging anyway.
I've started to play Dante. I'm still really bad with him. My mixups are not very good. I also can't seem to hit my Bold Cancel Volcano all the time. That's annoying.

Wha, so you can Air Grab after Toy Touch (never even thought of that, gotta try it).
I was also using Dante, not as someone I wanna be REALLY proficient with, but someone I can just throw out there and just juggernaut with (cuz he's damn good) but now I'm using Vergil for those purposes instead (yeah imma NEED one juggernaut on my team to beast with while the others recover all that red health, lol).

Defence is going to be one of the properties I intend to work on, it has been bad rather due to being open to assists and keep-aways. I also plan to making better combo setups as well with my mains, but my Magneto is the one who will need the most time getting better on.

Defence is going to be one of the properties I intend to work on, it has been bad rather due to being open to assists keep-aways. I also plan to making better combo setups as well with my mains,,but my Magneto is th one who will need the most time getting better on.
If I were to pick up the game I would just set the computer on high and try to block as much weird shit as I could, cause the way I see is if I can block things that make no sense, I should be able block things that make sense....I sadly am completely free to grabs
