one of my friends told me Bioware is remaking the ending? I have a feeling this is a load of shit, is there anything to confirm or deny this?Actually, Bioware only stated that they were expanding on the ending, not changing it. Which may be worse, depending on your viewpoint and how BW goes about it.
I'd definitly say its in order. ever since I beat the game I haven't touched it
Well, a lot of people are looking at it negatively, seeing it as Bioware chosing to just explain the terrible ending that they already have in the game, to provide "closure", instead of just entirely replacing it for a new ending that'd likely make much more sense.
true, like everybody says, all it does is jump from one scene to another.

Sorry for the (necro)bump, but this is important...to me at least.
Here's the rant, may contain spoilers:
Now this is a spoiler, so I guess I should use spoiler tags...

Mass Effect 3: Rebellion Pack
I really want to try out the new lash attack on the vanguard. Looks freaking sweet. The Vorcha also look intersting, I wonder what the flamer skill of theirs is.

I recently got this game after completing Mass Effect 2. I am starting to understand why people are so disappointed.
I've been playing ME2 more than ME3 to be perfectly honest >_>

so I just got the game and played 3 hours of it. and i would have ton say. With all the praise i have heard about it. I am utterly disappointed.

I would say that everything up to and including Palaven is very underwhelming. But the rest of the game, up until the end, is fantastic. But please discuss it in the enormous existing ME3 thread.

Yeah... I'm at the final act of ME 3, and I was wondering if anyone mind sharing the conditions I need to have accomplished to achieve the perfect ending.

It's a lot easier if you've played the first two games and saved just about everyone up to this point.

Oh? Is that all? Actually, my War Assets is a little over 7000. I manage to find all these assets by scanning the many planets in the different star systems and also interacting with the people at The Citadel. As well as doing many of the side missions and side quests.
Thanks for the info.
Wait... Do you mean "Total Military Strength" or "Effective Military Strength"? Because my "T.M.S." is a little over 7000 while my "E.M.S." is a little over 3000.

Damn, I was hoping I wouldn't have to play online. I was hoping I could just go straight ahead and get a perfect ending with what I had.
*sighs* Thanks again for the info.

Yeah, that was one of the (many) complaints a lot of people had against Mass Effect 3. Bioware initially said that you wouldn't have to play any multiplayer to get the best ending. Basic math proved otherwise. Personally, I don't care. I play ME3 multiplayer quite often with my friends, so it doesn't really bother me.

Spoiler:
I am really confused now. Basically, one person is telling I should play online while another is telling it doesn't matter. Jeesh... Reason why ME 3 should've just been simple.

Reason why ME 3 should've just been simple.Well, the biggest reason why ME3 had been getting a lot of flack was for the utter bullshit ending that pretty much boiled down to picking the color of an explosion. I won't even bother to go into detail about the massive plotholes...
Spoiler:
Anyway, Bioware's supposedly working on fixing the ending via DLC after they got so much negative feedback that they were practically forced to take action. Back on topic. If you want the "best" ending, just do what I was saying earlier, play some multi enough to raise your EMS, then finish your playthrough.
And again.
