ign's "expert" analyst
First, he's saying BioWare should keep the original ending out of artistic integrity. Then he defends EA's business plans with the DLC? Does Colin not realize that Art =/= Business? You can't have it both ways, so choose a side and stick with it.
Also, that guy reaks of pretension.

Mah nigga Erik Kain mentioned him in an article.

Here’s Colin Moriarty two years ago, discussing changes made by studio Sucker Punch to their game Infamous 2, after the release was met with fan backlash: "Obviously, the fact that Cole has been reverted back to his old self (somewhat) is great news. After all, Greg and I did our fair share of whining on Podcast Beyond after the new Cole was first shown on the cover of Game Informer some months back. Of course, I’d love for Sucker Punch to bring back Cole’s old voice, too, but hey – beggars can’t be choosers.
But beyond (BEYOND!) the excitement I feel to have old Cole back in Infamous 2, I think the sudden change in character model says a lot more. Indeed, it says a great deal about Sucker Punch itself. This is a studio that listens to its fans, cares what they want, and attempts to cater to as many of them as possible. There’s no doubt that fans of a franchise can’t be trusted with every little thing (after all, look at how many people were completely and utterly wrong when they predicted Wind Waker would suck based solely on its graphics – I still laugh at those people today), but it still delivers a rather important point.
But with the new Cole design, Sucker Punch heard loud and clear what fans of Infamous wanted, and they delivered. Infinite amounts of kudos to them for doing right by their community. Fans of Infamous won’t soon forget it. Sucker Punch is one of Sony’s most valuable developers. They are tuned-in with the PS3 faithful, and it’s things like this that prove it."

Mah nigga Erik Kain mentioned him in an article.Oh, so he's not just a pretentious prick, but a hypocrite as well? Makes you wonder how a guy like him even landed a job at IGN in journalism.
Also, found a vid that has more thought out reasons as to why the ME3 ending doesn't belong. It's pretty long, but the guy brings out some really good arguements that I've never thought about before.

I saw all endings in youtube. It is not different at all!! Some ME3 players told me that "you must end the game at least two times for getting the real ending". It is true?

It is true? When you beat the game with an imported character, you get some ending clip of some Stargazer (voiced by Buzz Aldrin) telling a story about "The Shepard". That's it. Doesn't add anything to the story.
Edit: Also, after playing through the other ME2 again, I came across a conversation with Mordin (that I've completely forgotten about) that makes the Synthesis choice sound like the worst of the three possible endings.

Now I want to see the "but Synthesis is the best choice!" argument come out.

I can't wait until "The Truth" comes out for $15 so I can see a few hours longer what will happen to my Shep and my crew.

Mah nigga Erik Kain strikes again: Six Reasons Why Changing The Mass Effect 3 Ending Won't Threaten Its 'Artistic Integrity'. Number 1 is especially important to note.

Been playing the multiplayer a bit and unlocked the falcon grenade launcher. While using this gun, I seem to run into a weird glitch that makes the gun fires blanks if you pull the trigger too rapidly. The gun will shoot and you use up ammo like normal, but no grenade leaves the barrel. So you're effectively wasting ammo while the enemy is unharmed.
Anyone else getting this problem with that gun? I mean, it's still usable and it's pretty damned effective at crowd control, but that bug practically ruins the weapon if you tend to go into "panic mode" like I do against Banshees and Geth Hunters/Pyros.

Yeah I know he's on a website that's pretty much sucking Bioware's cock off and likely needs to have the same opinions as his bosses to keep his job, but he didn't need to go that far if it wasn't his actual POV. Dude's an utter dipshit who, like other internet celebs, got lucky and got money.
So far your nigga's worth every penny he gets, Rbz.
Also, because this guy is a better redlettermedia now than redlettermedia:

Are we going to change the ending of the game? No.You know, if you look at the Normandy SR-2 from a top-down perspective real careful-like, it'll resemble a middle finger.

Make what you will out of it. I make of it that I am a struggling writer who tears his hair out to get his plot and characters genuinely proper and strive to be a noteworthy and respectable creator, going over and over and over to make sure every inch of my stories work right and feel real as well as entertaining,
and these chucklefucks get paid to piss on the rules and proper etiquette of being a real artistic creator while being shielded by monkeys who don't know the first thing of artistic integrity.
sigh
OT: That's it. Bioware is now cemented as a money-grubbing, fan-abusing, pile of pretentious cock-ends.
...Well, more so now.
So who wants to start bets on when we'll see the "EA shuts down/liquidates Bioware" headline. Let's face it,
Very few enjoy DA2 and after DA2 many won't buy another DA game.
Very few plan on ever even looking at another Mass Effect tie-in after this cockup.
Very few who actually care will still care about ME after this since, let's face it, most really care about their relationships and the Reaper threat, not so much the universe of Mass effect.
EA has absorbed and closed the doors to more noteworthy names before.
I think. Pretty sure, anyway. Hope the worthy employees get jobs fast if it happens.
Just my musings, though. I can't give a toss anymore.

Another member of the Child’s Play fundraiser community, Chris Ballard, 26, a student from Rio Ranchero, New Mexico, said BioWare’s announcement was “infuriating.”
“Frankly, I see it as simply a damage control measure — they’re doing the absolute least effort thing they can do that they think will save their reputation,” Ballard said. “My fervent hope now is that it only fans the flames higher.”

Proceedings then moved on to the controversy over the way Tali’s face was depicted in Mass Effect 3.Writer Patrick Weekes explained that the devs wanted to portray Tali’s unmasked visage “in a tasteful way that didn’t throw it into the game engine.”

They were defiant in the face of fan complaints about the use of a stock photo: “We often use source art for many things within our game…we poured through thousands and thousands of pieces of source art we’ve done it throughout.” To prove his point, Weekes asked one of the Samara cosplayers to stand up. As our PAX East Day 1 photo gallery proves, she was the spitting image of Samara. This, as it turns out, is no coincidence — the cosplayer’s face was actually used as a model for Samara. Same goes for Liara, whose appearance was also based on a real person. The faggot used Asari to defend lazy shops. Asari, by their very nature, resemble humans. At least ME1's art team added some tentacle shit to their head to make them look alien; they earned their fucking pay.
Why isn't the motherfucker who made this working for Bioware:

The developers then addressed the indoctrination theory, which they said “illustrates how committed the fanbase is.” That was as far as they would go, however: “We don’t want to be prescriptive for how people interpret the ending, especially with the DLC coming out….we want the material to speak for itself.” Neither a confirmation nor a denial, then. They say this with a smile on their face, but deep down they know the truth. They know that this conspiracy theory attributes brilliance that Mac Walters does not have. They know that the cycle will continue and they're next in line:
