Oooh! looks awesome! A non h-game that I might like! Some questions before I DL though...

1.) Are the links of the game still good? no problem with installing or DLing?
2.) Is there any fluff? fluff is nice :) otherwise, it might compensate with the story.
3.) I saw a gameplay pic... and it's 3D... Can my 128 MB Video card handle this? (Doubt it though. already ridiculously laggy with the effects of the game "Men at work 2")
4.) All-in-all, why is this game good? is it for the story or gameplay?
5.) Is this more on romance?

1: Should be. If they aren't down, they work.

2: Fluff?

3: Depends on your card. But, I'm running it with an old 128 myself, and it runs flawlessly. Clean your system, disable AV while playing, and the rest of the world's common performance tips.

4: The story is good. Not great, but good. The characters are all likable, and the gameplay itself, while not overly challenging, is fun and engaging.

5: It's part one of a trilogy. While the later chapters, especially once you settle upon a route contain some good romance, it isn't until Moonlit Lovers, game 2, that it really heats up between Takuto (Fuck you, Aroduc. I refuse to call him Tact) and his chosen heroine.

On the bright side, ML IS being translated, with Eternal Lovers to follow after that.

BTW, what I meant by fluff is the romance; the fluffy it is, the more "romantic" it is... Usually to the point of being lame (But heck, as long as it's good)... soooo Is it?

Edit: I'm still learning some PC basics so... what's AV and how do I disable it? :/

AV=Anti-Virus

Usually, if there's an icon in the taskbar you can right click it and it will have the disable option. Otherwise, open up your antivirus and search for a disable button.

WHOA WHOA WHOA!!! Why the HELL Would I wanna DISABLE My Anti virus!?... Oh wait. to make my com less clunky whenever I play GA, right? Or does AVs somehow affect GA in anyway? Like detecting it as a Virus?

AV software typically contains an active component, with the level of activity ranging based on which software you are using. As with any active component, it requires system resources, with the amount depending on the level of paranoia your AV is set to.

Ergo, if you feel the game is running slowly, you can disable the active component while playing, and re-enable it once you finish.

It's the same logic as when you disable your firewall when playing an online game.

Note that, unless you are running Win98 with 32MB of RAM with an integrated video card, you should not have any issue running Galaxy Angel.

All I know is that I'm running Win XP with over a gig of RAM with a garbage-quality Video card. (Video card is 128 MB) In other words, My Video card is my only issue... What's the recommended for GA anyway?

Holy hell, mission 10 is HARD.

Which heroine are you taking? because at Chapter 10 the stage are different for Forte (which is the hardest). But basically, just focus on the nearest enemy to Elshior and take 1-2 unit to take the other enemy. That's what I do, and at 10-3 you'll be fighting only Dark Angels 5 on 5 so I think it'd be simple. (My favorite's of course Vanilla) ^^


At Chapter 11, Elshior will move to the top-right edge while the Angel Team must wipe the enemies on the way. Just clear everything on the way, don't mind the one on the sides and those appeared behind later. Focus all 5 to destroy a single enemy at one time.

Basically, If you fail to mount disc 2 that means it failed the downloading. But if you can mount it, then maybe there's something I can point out:
1. Try to wait while mounting the disc, since it needs time to load.
2. Make sure you mount it into the same drive.
3. Check if your Anti-Virus didn't take it as threat.
4. Make sure you change your regional to japan.
5. If all didn't work, try re-download disc 2.
