No matter how many times we, any of the teams I'm with at the moment, hit it, it never seems any closer to going down.
At least Lagi and Los go down in like 10mins, the Barroth is too damned stubborn.

So I'm just waiting for the Alatreon event to come up. Gonna Clust that sucka to hell, but first I will need to stock up on Wyvern Claws... the kid needs to sell them already. I'm running out (less than 60 right now).

I think the event for it was up a few weeks ago.
Now all I need to do is rank up and make some +armor. Now that I think about it, the blacksmith said something about just constantly upgrading the current armor I have, but I was clicking the A button too fast to read what he was saying.

Which armor do you want? You should visit the recruit server and just play there.
Oh and I hate leechers. Going into the same room as you and during the quest they do nothing. Letting you do all the work. Whenever that happens I just tend to abandon the quest on them... and they abandon too because they suck... unless the one we're hunting is almost dead.

I'm still running around with bits of the Rathalos, Lagiacrus, and Barioth armors.
Right now I'm trying to make up most of the Rathian+ set, mainly the arms, chest, and legs.
I'm also trying to make the Bnahabra+ set for the hell of it.
And I've never ran into a leecher, only dumbasses who don't know what they're getting themselves into...like the one guy who posted up the low ranked Deviljho quest.

Just wanted to tell you basic knowledge about MH3:
Nooby armors:
-all rare 1 to rare 4.
- rathian+, rathalos+, Barroth+.
Reliable Armors:
-gigginox+, gobul+, and all rare 6 and 7.
Reliable weapons:
- weapons rare 5,6,7
- get the most powerful weaponsof each categorie of each element to be versatile.
General infomations:
- Use blue-sharpen weapons, green SUCKS!
- Trap the monsters when they arent furious, they ll stay more time into the trap.
- Do not use flashbombs on: gobul=useless , barioth=he becomes mad and attack everywhere very quickly.
-Go to MH3 wikia to see what weapon hit more fire, water, etc.
-Look at the monster schemes: what part is weak, when, what element damages on this monster...
-Try to get a least 3 USEFUL SKILLS!!!! No need tremor-proof during alatreon, no need thunder+20 during a deviljho, no need cap-master, cap guru during ceadeus, jhen morhan, alatreon... and on and on, JUST USE YOUR BRAIN!
Yes, I m fed up with all guys who don t use their ****** brain...
IDK if you must pay to play online in USA, but in Europe, Capcom failed in finding paying servers so its totally free <3 That's probably why we have such nooby players...

I play online in the US and I do meet some dumbass noobs.
Sometimes I question why they use the wrong weapons or wear the wrong armor when we go on certain hunts.
I'll also admit I don't have that many armor sets and no blue-sharpness weapons right now, but since the citie's I go to are usually full of people who don't want to help me get the matrials I need to forge new armor and weapons, so I'm stuck tagging along with them on their hunts which usually aren't the ones I need.
But atleast when I played offline, I had a chance to diversify what different element weapons I have.
I mainly use SnS and so I have a Djinn, Lagia Sword, Shadow Saber+, Royal Claw+, Morpheus Knife, Icicle Spik+, and a Jhen Kodachi. So I'm set with whatever hunt I go on.
As for armor, low ranked Rathalos head, chest, and waist, Lagia arms, chest, and waist, and Barioth legs.
High ranked Riathian arms and Jaggi legs
When I forge armor, I don't really look the skills for it, I just look at the base defense it provides and the elemental defense.

Flash Barioth when he flews in the air. Not when he's in the air but when he is gonna fly straight at you with that spin.
Pitfall monsters when they are hungry. They will stay in longer.
You just gotta know what to do with your armors if you don't have a complete set. Try mixing them and get the skills you want.
And if you want help, I can help you. I'm usually on the whole day at the moment since I don't have anythjng else to do and it's summer break.
US server Name: Kadushy Current Hr:145 but tell me who you are first and that you are from Fakku.
Oh yeah, I met this dude the other day who came into an arena room. He wanted help on Barioth but I didn't want to since I wanted to do the Arena. He started spamming the chatbox calling me and a friend of mine noobs then left. I cried. Then yesterday I met this dude who was all about Hr. He will only play with higher rank people and will tell you to get out of the room if you have a rank or 60 or lower. He asked me for my Hr and I didn't want to say it since I didn't want to. He bitch at me since I ignored his spams then I got out of the room because he was annoying. I went to another room and like 10 minutes later he came into the same room as me. He saw me then he left right away. Lol funny. I don't know why I keep running into these kinds of people.

Armor sets are all about skills, if you look at the defense, that means you expect to get hit. Not a very good way of thinking. Look at people uploading vids on YT, they manage to kill the fiercest of monsters wearing only their pants.
Advice: Find a weapon type best suited for you, find the skills that go very well with this type of weapon, get the required equips.....??????.....PROFIT

I know it's a dumb idea to just look at the armor for defense and elemental defense, but we all know it's a fact that when we get hit, it's gonna really hurt.
And you're right, most armor skills do help a lot, like Earplugs, Razor Sharp, Element/Status Up, Marathon Runner, Capture Guru, etc. Then using decos. to counter-balance some of the neg. skills of most armor sets.

1. Make a female character.
2. Act like one.
3. Get a hacker to do all the work for you
4. ?????
5. Profit.
Really thats what happened some random dude helped me get from HR 32 to 40 in like one hour.
Also,
Do note that not everyone has the means to get said items/weps/armors right away. All the weps I know that has blue sharpness needs a rare item, some people just arent lucky to get plates/rubies/gems. Also if youre skills are good enough they can make up for the lack of good armor/wep. I have a Bnahabra armor with fencing skill and a green sharpness weapons. Clearly it beats any blue sharpness since it still goes through and lasts longer.
Also, I was able to kill Ala with a Los+ (Gunner and Blademaster) set so many times, barely dying, before I made a Jho set. The heat cancel hi allowed me an extra room in my pouch which I find very helpful. The Expert skill allowed me to do more dmg overall. All in all what Im saying some armor works with people some dont. Rare 7 is what? Ala, Jho and Caedus sets? Surely you know how many items are needed to make them. Also, some people dont know the weakness of monsters unless you tell them, or point out the weakness by telling them to look at the monster's armor.
And Kads, Damn! I leave you for a few weeks and you've passed me... Well, you were higher than me to begin with before you took youre break.

I literally wasted an entire hour going from city to city, gate to gate, looking for some help with my HR39 Urgent. All I got was cities full of people who had their own agenda and not wanting to help, people who are afk, and people who accept the quest and just stand there wasting time.
Why did I even bother. -___-'

Best thing to do with urgents is to go to Greed, find an open city and post your urgent there, i.e. High - *4 urgent - Everyone Welcome or Skilled Players Only.
Or could have asked me or Kads to help you. Kad and I took that quest by ourselves.
