Monster Hunter Tri.

I always like to focus on removing a part of a monster instead of going right at it.
Since I'm a LSword user this helps me stay out of the way of people trying to attack it head on, and this way I don't have to worry so much about constant attacking. When your not soloing it can get really annoying if the monster doesn't focus on you and you have to chase it, but if I focus on just getting clean hits I don't have to worry as much, I can just wait for the oppertuinity.
Parts tend to have different drop percentages on items as well as items you cant get other wise, plus subquests usually involve them so theyre worth going for.

dude from what i hear monster hunter tri is very easy compared to MHFU cause the monsters has a stamina gauge in the tri thus making them tired would make them perform incomplete attacks ergo we could say they are easier to kill than the previous MH...

Does anyone else think the Agnaktor is easy to hunt?Yeah agn is easy for pros but the first time you get the quest offline/online you fear it till you beat it enough times. After seeing the Barrel roll attack i said fuck it and skipped that quest offline. I went back later to fight it and killed it but now i can fight him without even using cool drinks or healing. Actually i can do that with any monster at the volcano just the tundra is a different story lol.

Its a game that pisses to enough to the point where you will rage till you faint three times due to hitboxes. People found tri easy since the hitboxes are near perfect and new attacks make hunting more enjoyable. With the new attacks/Defensive moves makes you more versatile during a hunt. Even with all of that people still die left and right and lance users still think lance charging during the whole hunt makes it go by faster.

OMG lance charging noobs are so funny!
I used to main the lance, but i REALLY got into SnS after a little practice. I sucked in water with it though, but on land, I was hardly touchable.
I also loved the lance because of the backstep. With good timing, you could rely on the invincible frame in a step to dodge tail hits (mostly) and other stuff. The counter was also extremely usefull when used with the correct timing and/or during a combo. When I learned that you could counter wind preses, I shat brix. Also, when I learned you could "charge" a counter or not, I shat more brix. Those 3 elements made me realize the move was useful, like, a lot.
But Sword and shield is just HEAPS of fun to use. Nothing beats getting rammed up the ass by a lancer during a combo though.

Speaking of favorite weapons, what is everyone's favorite weapon type and why? I'm not asking what the advantages are to that weapon specifically, just why do you love it.
SnS for me for mobility, the ability to block, and ease of use. It's no wonder it's one of two starting melee weapons. Starting to use and learn the other weapon types though.

It's incredibly versatile once you learn how to use it and it's ridiculously useful for partying via KO's and Knock Downs (super pound the legs enough and they'll go down easy).

I don't have a favorite weapon, but I mostly use SnS, LSword, or Switch-Axe. It really depends on the quest.

To me Anga is just like a harder version of Royal Lud.
A lot of people say that monster stamina makes it easier but i think it makes it harder. When monsters are low stamina theyll usually do the more annoying attacks and run away more and theres nothing I hate more than chasing monsters.
Btw Nhezu is your ava a girl wearing the barioth set? I think I just clued in xD.

Agnaktor is more like a lava dwelling Lagiacrus, it just shoots a stream of fire and can tunnel into the ground and ceiling.

This is actually the female Kirin set from the previous Monster Hunters. Tri is the only game that doesn't have Kirin in it, though Beliolos/Barioth set comes up with a similar style.

who's more annoying in your opinion to hunt - Diablos or Barioth.Whether it's in Tri or in the Portable series, Diablos is NEVER a favorite nor is it decent to hunt.

Everything about him is op and bs. All his attacks basically protect his full body, hes super tall and hard to hit and he moves around way to fast and wayy to often.

I know, I don't hate it that much... in fact, I like to fight Diablos, but it's damn hard to hit.
The one that I really hate is Deviljho.

It's not that hard to hit Diablos, depending on what weapon you use. SnS let's you get in a few good slashes before he digs back underground, then you can block when he jumps out at you. His tail is the only main annoyance when hunting him.
Then Deviljho....why does it always have to appear whenever we go hunt Qurupecos? WHY!?

Blos is easy to me in Unite and Tri
Barioth is simple: Speed vs Speed = Barioth vs Flame SnS
