I was afraid no one would mention him. The Combine were able to conquer Earth and defeat it's military with little effort. But they are unable to capture a lone scientist?

Gordon doesn't fear the disgusting creatures that threaten him. He doesn't flinch in the face of danger, and he has access to fucking hammer space. He destroys the empire that oppresses humanity, and he does it without uttering a single word.

well you could pretty much acount for all the guys from nazi zombies, but I just picked tank because he is my fav character out of everyone, though Nikolai and Richtofen have some pretty funny lines also.

Hmm, I will say the goddamn Batman from Arkham Asylum. I know he's a comic book character, but technically he has had games (This one being his best). Now, if this topic is stating those who originate from games then, I'm going with Solid Snake, but if not, then, I go with the goddamn Batman.

Okay, after just recently seeing the PC ending of the Wanted: Weapons of Fate, I wanna change my answer from Sam Fisher to Wesley. Watch the vid and you'll see why.

For video game characters I consider the manliest has to go to Solid Snake and Sephiroth. Two badass manliest motherfuckers to ever grace this video game earth.

The manliest character in videogames is Auron.
Lets state the facts!

1)Death couldn't stop him. Not only did he die the first time he helped kill Sin, he came back to help kill Sin a second time!

2)His badassery is so extreme, that whilst other characters struggle harming shelled/armoured characters, he cuts through them like butter.

3)Did I mention he only used 1 hand for his weapon. That sword is the largest and heaviest weapon used by the party (and possibly even the game if you ignore the cannons). He gives his opponents a freaking handicap when fighting them! And still wins!

4)In one of the first cinematics of the game, he opens his Sake jug to take a swig, and freaking souls come out! That's right! He drinks souls with his Sake!

5)Within 5 minutes of Auron arriving on the scene, he gives Tidus a sword (like that pansy could be any help), and runs head first into AN ARMY OF SINSPAWN!

6)Should the occasion ever occur, he can be healed with healing spells! That's right! He is dead, and healing spells don't hurt him! He defies the very laws of the game that he is in!

Yes, I think Auron is awesome too, but...Dante is the man imho.

1) He often gets imapled through the chest by a sword, just to rise off the sword using lower body strength

2) He rode an enemy like a Skateboard and used a guitar as a weapon

3) He ALWAYS runs into a ton of enemys casually.

4) Dante also uses a giant sword with 1 hand (Usually)

5) He took an exploding motorcycle to the face!
