Pokemon X & Y

So I played some singles on ranked today, and realize that I suck balls.

What's with the 3 pokemon only rule? I built my whole team around having 6 after seeing some online battles on youtube. I guess random battles only have 3 at a time to make them go faster? Either way I dunno how to build my team now if I'm only going to have 3. No need for set-up or spinners I'm assuming.

Single battle, 3 Pokemon
Double battle, 4 pokemon
Triple battle, 6 Pokemon
Rotation battle, 4 pokemon

Same rule as Battle Maison. Btw, my Ditto made all them Megas crying home 8D

I have a quetion what is my friend safari I know i have a fairy type but i have no idea what I have
in game name lucifer

I don't mind, but I have no idea why you'd want to. It's just a poor guy who just started playing the game getting smashed.

So who's already hitting the battle scene?

I'm still getting the basics of breeding down.(if someone has a ditto in their friend safari, or knows someone who does, please tell me)

What's common? Any unusual teams or combinations?

Why is it so hard to find a Staryu with Natural Cure?

On a side note, I'm trying to use Gogoat and I'm wondering if he's actually good or I just like how he looks.

I'm still losing heavily though, I go for Singles.

-KangasKHAN @Mega stone (Wish there was a Ice Punch tutor)
-Aggron @Rocky Helmet (Status ailments and wall) (Pokemon X BTW, So I don't have its mega stone)
-Spiritomb @Wide Lens (Hynopsis/Dream Eater also wall)

Should I change Aggron with Klefki? Any Suggestions.



In Singles I commonly see:
-Garchomp with Rocky Helmet (My Kangaskhan suffers)
-Kleki with Prankster
-also Kangaskhan will probably go into OU.

Some people claimed that once you Mevolve the counter resets, so you don't get the +1 at that turn, similar to how when you switch in a Speed Boost pokemon it only gets the boosts starting from next turn.

This vid is the proof that MEvolve doesn't reset the counter of abilities if the ability before and after it remains the same.

Edit: Well, let's test it with acquired ability too. Do you mind to test it with Blaze Blaziken as well, who knows it'll get the boost in the same turn as MEvolve?

My line-up for Single Battle.

Greninja || Ability Protean
He's really good. Can be called an "anti-meta" for having 4 moves with different types. All of them get STAB because of Protean.

Kangaskhan || Mega Evolution
My heavy hitter. Her Giga-Impact is really strong because it gets twice attack + STAB.

Ditto || Ability Imposter
Equipped with Choice Scarf. A really good one for "revenge" purpose. Can turn into Mega Evolution Pokemon as well.


For Triple Battle, I use Garchomp (mainly for being Dragon Type, it has Outrage but I'm planning to take it out soon). Sylveon (too cute to not be used~ Slow but strong Sp Atk and Sp Def). And the last one is Gengar (strong Sp Atk and quite quick. Bad defense tho').

So I'm trying to breed a Skiddo for natures and I got 5 in a row with a neutral nature.

I'm thinking of just rolling with it and maybe building him mixed with some bulk cause this is really starting to annoy me.

On a side note, is Zorark any good? Its ability while a bit gimmicky can have its uses, though having high special attack on a Dark type seems a bit odd.

So I'm trying to breed a Shiny Ralts today.... I've been at it for 4 hours and still no luck on it. I am upping my chances with it but still no luck. Another 4 hours to go I guess.

Edit: And I finally got one, the ability is wrong and it is a male but it is still a shiny. The nature is perfect and has perfect IVs so it will do.
