I agree with you, but to quote those at Smogon/PO... Talonflame ain't no counter because it can't switch in. Almost anything Blaziken has can hurt it badly due to its laughable bulk so it doesn't qualify as a counter, as those people define it.

Though I agree that it is a very solid check.

So Nintendo's doing this deal where if you register your 3DS and one of 6 games I think, you can get a free copy of Pokemon X or Y for download. It's kind of an annoying process, but hey, free game. Oh yeah, and it's only through March.

Looking over the Legendary Coming out Diance it's merely a Carbink with Offensive Power. I know it was going to be similiar but I was kinda hoping for more. But Diamond Storm looks like a good move, plus it my be a great Baton Pass Recipient.

I've tried a few random match-ups for doubles and fuck. Everybody is running fucking legendery's , especially in ranked. I understand why, but it just isn't as fun. I think I'll stick to 6 vs 6 passerby matches, at least people there try something else.

If anyone has a Slakoth [size=10](Vigoroth, Slaking)[/h], or a Shroomish [size=10](Breloom)[/h], and is willing to trade it, I'd very gladly accept it.
Surely I have something of interest to somebody that has what I'm looking for (e.g. I have Joltik, Beldum [size=10]{Metagross}[/h], and a few more).

Anything in particular you are trying to find in both of them? HAs? IVs?

Not really - I do breeding of traded pokemon myself ([size=10]since I would like to rename them at my leasure, AND experiment with IVs and EVs[/h]).

I think I have a Shroomish for trade. I don't recall trading my last one out, but I'll get back to you on it.

I just recently was working on Slakings and Brelooms xD
Got both Slakoth and Shroomish, Adamant, 5IVs obv not SpAtk xD
The Shroomish is Effect Spore though, but you can just use an ability capsule to get Poison Heal (Yes I know that's like 200BP but, well, I had like 10 of them at 1 point) I have a HA one, but not Adamant.

Would any of these interest you for either of those 2?

Anyone care to play a few matches? I need more testing of my OU rain team. I played it here and there a few times, and I've got to say, that it's very hard to pilot this team, but I find it very rewarding as well, much like playing Red/Blue in Magic The Gathering, one wrong extension can cost games.

I only have like 4 battle ready pokemon. I've been spending my time on pokemonshowdown since it's more convenient.

Might as well ask, to help prepare for the April Friendly.

I plan to be doing mostly Trickroom Sweeps, and have tried to bring along Counter to the most popular pokemon. Gengar is mostly just to counter Khan and to make guessing my line-up harder but not sure if I should switch him out for something else.

Any Suggestions?

For those of you in North America, a new event is running online this October. This event is a Super Size Pumpkaboo holding a Rocky Helmet and the moves Trick-or-Treat and Scary Face. As this Pumpkaboo is Super Size, it is very useful in the upcoming Trick-or-Treat Battle Competition where you require use of a Super Size Gourgeist. This event is running from today until October 31st so be sure to download it while you can.
Edit @ 16:42: It's also listed to run in Europe from today until October 31st, but, like America, distribution has yet to begin

One tip: make sure to soft reset until you get one with Insomnia as it's the only way it's available on a Super Size one.

Probably not a big deal considering it's already immune to both Sleep Powder and Spore, and chances are you won't be running into Dark Void while using one, but it's always nice to have.
