Froakie's is awesome. Looks like it might be my new favorite Water type evolution since Empoleon.

Alot of people hate Chespin's, but two words:

DAT TANK

I think it looked fine, goes well with the "mage" theme.

I'm not complaining about the evolution, but more on the fact that I got spoiled... lol. was checking my facebook but someone in a 3DS group that I was in posted a clear picture of it.

I have seen leaks of the final evolutions but also see many people complaining about them but I dont get why I personally like them alot

I've asked this multiple times, and every time the question just gets avoided.

Why are folks so excited for this Pokemon game specifically? It seems like the entire internet is exploding over this edition.

Is it really that much different from any other new generation's debut?

If there is a reason, though, it might be the move to 3D models for the Pokémon. I've seen quite many comments on how long some players have been wanting this. Add to this the additional features like trainer customization and suddenly there's an explosion of interest again.

The entire internet is exploding because this Pokemon has some milestone firsts. Namely:

• First GLOBAL launch

• First to use 3D models and normal movements instead of the long lasting sprites

Add:

• First Pokemon game for the 3DS

• Mega Evolution

• First Gen Starters being available again

(yeah that's one of the hype factors)

They already planned for a global release, but some guys just have to be impatient and ruin the whole bunch.

The global release is something, I will give it that - but the games movement is still grid based, right?



Is Mega Evolution really a selling point? some Pokemon fans were saying that Gen5 Pokemon looked too silly and goofy, and yet tacking spikes to Aerodactyl isn't goofy and silly?

Well, to me Yes. "Disregarding the leaks", I want to know which pokemon that will get a Mega evolution. (Only fact, 6th Gen Pokemon won't receive any Mega Evolution)

About the designs, I've never cared much about how it "looks", but more about how it looks matches it's name and origins.
