Are you stupid? You do realize how big the game is right? There is also an expansion being released for it which tacks on another 25% of a game to the already massive game.

Rance Quest Magnum is out. lolHave you tried it ?
Aside from additional quests and CGs, it seems the magnum patch mostly altered characters' skill and game's mechanic. So far, I've found :
Character/Skill Wise
- Before patched, Sachiko only needs to spend 2 skill points to improve her Shield Block's level. But in Magnum, she should spend 4 skill points, just like the other guards.
- Torako is now a Shikigami user. It's not possible for her to learn any specific elemental knowledge anymore.
- Every character now has an additional blue skill, 待機 (wait). The function is just like what its name implied.(quoted from Inarashi of alicesoftwiki)
- 2 additional white skills for 45+ characters only. Each costs 30 skill points to learn. (quoted from Zlewe of alicesoftwiki)
- Rance gained 鬼畜アタック red skill. (quoted from Zlewe of alicesoftwiki)
- Tomato can learn å®ç®±ã«å¥½ã‹ã‚Œã‚‹2 and three additional yellow skills. (quoted from Zlewe of alicesoftwiki)
- Healers can learn hammer knowledge, but they gain different red skills than fighters. (quoted from Zlewe of alicesoftwiki)
- Sorcerers can learn white and black destruction beams. (quoted from Zlewe of alicesoftwiki)

- The Morurun curse doesn't reset said character's level into 1 anymore. It seems to be only reduced by 5 last time I tried.
- New monster in generic dungeon in form of Alicesoft's products magazine cover. You will obtain a wall scroll (which you can see at Rance's Castle) after it's defeated.
- For reasons unknown, I cannot enter Rance Castle after I reset my Childie. needs confirmation
- H-ing a girl in quest (like Katsuko and Torako in quest#43) won't reset the girl's level/raise the girl's level cap if you've done it before. needs confirmation
That's it, the changes are supposed to be more than just that. Anybody find another ?

The game seems to be more-friendlier than it was, though some (major) changes most likely won't be all appealing. (or maybe that's just because my limited ability to read moonrunes)
I have no clue how to distinguish the information between Rance Quest 1.6 and Rance Quest - Magnum. With Magnum released, the game becomes bigger than what I initially expected.

- The interface will be revamped, and probably in 2.0 (probably not 1.6 since 1.6 is just a software update and 2.0 is the update+new content) content Matilda will be added as a PC plus the strategist galmon Battle Note will be added (appearance is different than in Galzoo Island).
- Molrun(?) curse will be modified. The first time will be same as before (reset to 1), but 2nd time onwards it'll be -5 level, but level requirement for H next time will be raised, with the item still getting absorbed, so powerlevelling will be somewhat easier.
- A girl can only absorb FIVE items by H-ing. If you H'd your girl more than 5 times for item absorption, upto 5 excess items will be returned to your inventory. If you did this more than 10 times, then further absorbed items will be lost permanently.
- Party screen will show 32 people at a time in the upper pane now (switchable between 10-char and 32-char display).
- There will be an encounter bar showing how long until next encounter happens.
- Items can now be locked to avoid accidental selling/donating.
- There will be a fast move mode that lets your movement be superfast (same as holding Ctrl in some games?).
- Zooming methods are slightly modified too but not sure what that's supposed to mean.
- Characters not participating in battle will also get a small amount of exp now.
Mai-hime skill of Atago to be slightly powered up.

Encounter bar works like this. It has a set amount of steps for every single room. Then depending on sneak it adds a few. Then for every encounter it increases the bar, every time you enter a new room. The encounter bar resets to its beginning value. So minus the encounter bonus (Am I clear enough)?
H-ing a girl will still give her level cap. Just tried with Aegis. Mourun Curse will not reset girls to level 1 any 2+ time you H her.
