The scariest video game I've ever played is quite honestly Team Fortress 2. I have never before had a game get me an adrenaline kick.

i had my fatal frame for a long time, and i just finished it this year, simply because i was too scared when i had it before... and i still am now... lucky i can get through it.. now, on to the second one...

Mainly because it's fun to play with pals, and while it's easy to get a hang of the basics, the advanced play is tough enough to keep most of the 14 year old online idiots out of higher-tier matches. Also, it's pretty! because it doesn't go for the usual "all is dark, failed photorealism ftl, zombies and monstars and arabs want your lungs" bullshit.

I've only played 3 of the games on the list and out of them I have to say that F.E.A.R was the most scariest of them. Bioshock was pretty scary at some points but not as the ''ffs i'm not going in there'' situations like F.E.A.R had, and Left 4 Dead was more about panic / teamwork ( horror games = must be alone ) than actual fear.

I don't think all dark photorealism etc. is bullshit, it is just that COD4 almost perfected it and everything else wants to be CoD4 now.
I think TF2 is fun, but I got bored with it after a short while. The visuals are different, but the whole time I was playing I was expecting Mr. Incredible to plow through a wall.

Yeah but Left 4 Dead is also pretty hilarious lol that's why it isn't scary at all, especially at parts like when Francis goes down and starts screaming like a little girl, I lol'd pretty hard there.

I'm really scared of Fatal Frame. I cannot properly express the spooky nature it gives of. I know something will come out in front of me but I just can't prepare myself for it. It's just plain scary.

At first, resident evil but starting from the fourth, it more to action than a horror game so fatal frame 3 is the scariest but Kuon story and idea although the gameplay is annoying could scare people. Silent hill does made goosebump with the suspense and music but the music annoy me rather than scare me so I still prefer fatal frame. Dead space is good but the monster doesn't randomly appear so it didn't gave a big impact.
