Don't they kinda do that for games already?Or are they going about it differently?
Well, for PS3 owners who brought games off on PSN like Marvel vs Capcom 2 as an example, certain titles can let you play tracks during play, not all games would allow this and I was disappointed you can't do this on the current releases like UmvC3 for instance unless you're a 360 owner. Either way, this is one of the features other game developers would allow, as I'm more comfortable playing the videogame music I grew up on than hearing the current themes of a fighting game.

Ah ok, just assumed it was the normal since I had a 360.
Thats good that they did that then.

Yes! The SG hype has even reached my favorite place~
Dunno if everyone's seen this yet, but the eigth release character, Double, has been announced.
Would've embedded these, but I don't think they're on YouTube, yet.
I'm not sure what to think of her, but she's lovely in her nun form. :0
Also, how could you not love the old-school cartoon-lovin', badass loli gangster? <3
My main team's gonna be Filia/Cerebella, and my secondary is gonna be Ms. Fortune/Peacock.
Do you guys have your teams picked yet? :D

the achevement of skullgirl came out today http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/skullgirls/achievements/

The achievement listed is a lot easier than I had expected.
Doing some character specific style maneuvers and do some story mode.
Not that I'm complaining or anything.

Seems like an easy achievement list, but the lack of a gold trophy for the PS3 version disappoints me a little.

I'm assuming they give plats for arcace games, right? That just seems odd, but since it is just that, they probably couldn't add as many trophies.
The important bit is that the game is good, right?

A guy-friend who's more into the FGC than I am (and actually owns a PS3; I don't have one) told me the character-specific trophies are for their level 3 supers. I guess that makes sense, but I'm still baffled.
But still, that feels way too easy. I mean, Disgaea 4 had a trophy for leveling a character to max (9999, for those who don't know). I know the game's no where near 'finished' in the sense that those sixteen are the only trophies, but I was expecting a mighty difficult one right off the bat.

Well, some arcade ports have had easy 100% trophy/achievement completion rate, so I'm guessing Skull Girls will be just another 'quick and easy' 100% minus the gold, I guess its all about enjoying the game itself which is really the core reason this game was given an average list of accomplishments. Just like how Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike Online Edition was a quick 100% with no platinum since these kind of games aren't on the serious trophy/achievement levels, they're merely arcade to console ports meant to be played more for online with these as a bonus, unless they're Marvel vs Capcom 2, where it's almost very hard to get online wins to get the online trophies/achievements you need to 100%.
But like Maeve said, a minor detail like that isn't going to stop me from enjoying this game.

I'm not sure how trophies are set up for psn arcade, but typically xbla games have 12 achievements from what I noticed
Granted, I do agree that they ought to be more complex than just doing a lvl 3 super... However, they could set it up similar to alpha3 where completing trials and other objectives of that variation increase your player level in the game rather than achievements. Just a thought anyways, I'm more excited for the game itself rather than the , achievements/trophies it offers. Those are always completed with time.

Played it today at BBR and I f*cking love it. As expected, the art is amazing and general theme of the series is freaky and very humorous. I love Valentine so I picked her up and she rocks, def. will main her. The rest of the roster is also fun and this is where I wish I had a console.

Whose going to pick it up?I, for one, am adding this to my PSN fighting collection, but I will have to get a PSN card first. Or if I get lucky, get it game shared from one of my friends if he's interested in buying it, he seems excited about this game as well.
