Skull Girls

I'm actually excited for this.

I've tried this game out last year during SNCI, and I enjoyed it. It felt like a combination of CvS2 and a bit of Marvel and Guilty Gear, which is a good thing, a lot less BS, a lot more fun.

I got it now off of PSN. I'm even more terrible at this than AH3. But have at me!

Still waiting to buy PC version, til then going to freeload the shit off my friends. Valentine is main so far and prob. going to pick up Parasoul as partner.

Got to try out the demo last night, and so far, I'm really impressed with this game. The fluid 2D animations brings more life to the game, doing combos in it is almost similar to using 'Gatling combo' Melty Blood type combos, which I like the most, so battles and minnd games would be fast paced and fun. Filia is already becoming my favourite so far since she got some good BnBs and her hair attacks reminds me of Guilty Gear's Milia Rage, their names even sound the same. Can't wait to get the full version of this one day.

If anyone is up to play in the EU region, I've got it for PSN. Will get it for XBL on Friday.

To me it felt like the *demo* tried to copy alot of things from other F games, but mostly fell short on everything.

I'll just wait for Guilty Gear Accent Core + to come out on PSN. *The game that started my fighting game addiction >9000 years ago*

I'm enjoying it so far. The 2D animation is very clean and gorgeous plus the musical score is just brilliant. Michiru Yamane has once again created another beautiful soundtrack.

They want to release it on PC, but it's up in the air really.

Ugh, for playing the game after 13 hours, I can say I had my fill for the week.
My initial thoughts for a team did change a little as so far I feel most comfortable with Painwheel, Valentine, and Parasoul (Valentine coming naturally to me for some reason).
I'm trying to put more focus on figuring out mix-ups for Parasoul but I'm having trouble with that. I also need to work on Pain's mobility too, and try to figure out a few more combos.

Have anybody figured out how to get extra costumes? I only got the ones unlocked for story mode, I'm assuming arcade unlocks another too.

7th: Story
8th: Arcade

10th: No one knows yet

9th: Win with character in Versus 25 times. Can be offline or online.

So far this is how it goes, if the console release is good they'll plan for a PC release as well.


Parasoul has some nice resets to use and so far I'm def. thinking about using her as a 2ndary character.

Anyone have a list yet of what to use to get the character achievements/trophies?

I'd would like to unlock the 9th costumes for all the characters due to them being cameo colors from other games and anime(e.g Ms. Fortune-Morrigan from Vampire Savior Filia-Miku Hatsune, Parasoul-Scanty/Kneesocks)

As in they have to be the winning character or just a part of the team?

I think it was stated elsewhere just team. So I'll guess the quickest way is running three man teams until you have them all. But I love this game so far, after the disappointing ST X TK (for me anyway), im glad a have this beautiful 2D game to play. Im running Valentine/Parasoul now, id love to play peacock too.

10th color: Go to Versus -> Local. Now you should be at a screen where you can select which controller goes to what player side.

Now enter (assuming default controls):
PS3: Down R1 Up L1 Square X
360: Down RB Up LB Y B

This unlocks the 10th color for all characters.

Played the demo pretty good has glorious graphics

From what i see, people are actually like this game *unlike recent capcom trash* i guess alot of characters =/= good game. Maybe i judged it too soon.... I will probably get it as soon as i have the chance.
