Mortal Kombat never impressed me. It seemed like button mashing was a sure way to win in that game, and it at least took some degree of skill to in in SF games. I'll take SF2 over any MK game ever.

I can't get the hang of Cody. I'm decent with everyone I tend to pick up, but my Cody is pretty bad.

lol, I know that. I meant like I can't get the hang of him and what situations he's best at. That probably didn't even make sense, but my style of play is more of rushdown and in your face kinda of attacks. Cody doesn't really feel like that when I use him though...

throw Ex rocks, that way you can at least attempt to chip the opponent.
Also, you can bait CH cr FP since it combos into the EX ROCKS which in turn combo into another cr fierce or Ultra 2 if you have it. MAD STUN. CRAZY STYLE.

Trying to main juri better. God im not use to all the behind 90 degrees moves. I'm trying to use ken as a last resort since everyone uses him

At least all the matches I've fought anyways. The only Ken players I've fought were pretty noobish, but due to the online being the way it is I end up losing to some random punk that I could have beaten easily. *Shakes fist at Capcom's servers*
You get use to the back QC moves once you've used her enough. I end up not using her QC+Punch move though, only time I do use it is when I get stuck in corners and need to get out...

Pick Ryu then. He's the only shoto player I use.
Both his ultra can be corner combo'd off of.
I have a weak mix-up game with him though:
Poke: Cr.MK xx hadouken
normal: f.HP > Fierce shoryuken
yeah I need to work on that a lot, I don't really have anything else with him yet.

i pulled off CH. c.FP, EX rocks, c.FP, EX criminal upper in an actual match the other day, does 771 stun and a shitload of damage. Other guy probably went "WTF", lol.

I tried using Cammy. I suck. I tried some nifty combos with her. That was fun. Lol. That half circle is hard though... On controller anyway. We'll see how I do when I get to mess around with the arcade stick.

you could use 1 of ibukis bnb's like cr. lp, cr. lp, s. lp, s. mk, neckbreaker/raida/tsumuji to punish those blocked srk's, but those combos require high execution. even better if it's in the corner you can pull off another raida after BnB into EX tsumuji.

im not 100% certain but i think that dmg would come out around 500, badass shit right there!

i tried the one you mentioned and its surprisingly easy to pull off , but its a corner only combo? i think its a 3 frame link from ex rocks into cr. fierce you just need to learn the timing on that.
this 1 i tried out in practice mode: nj. fp, cr. fp, RH ruffian, fadc, ex ruffian, ex criminal upper
it deals out 493 dmg & about 743 stun, bad thing is it burns all your meter to use. its usable almost anywhere on screen, but not in the corner.

Most of Cody's real damaging stuff is corner-only, though from midscreen you can still get in some of his CH stuff in. From midscreen though you mainly want to combo into ruffian or use zonk if only to position them in the corner so you can go to town.
Revised version, its kinda character specific, and it's harder to pull off on characters who fall faster. Still viable against most though:
CH c.HP, EX rocks, c.HP, LP criminal upper, EX criminal upper.
again, forget the damage but I know it deals 812 stun. Also means that if you follow up with f+MP, c.MP, HP criminal upper (which is ridiculously easy since f+MP is +7 on hit, so the combo is pretty much guaranteed if it connects) they're instantly stunned.
A lot of Cody's best stuff is corner only, or at least near the corner, because it's so easy to bait a counter hit with him due to how good his normals are at frame trapping people.

that last bit of advice was really helpful not to mention i actually pulled off your combo mentioned during an actual match. i think it was an hour or so and i raised my bp with cody by 500, good times. oh and i believe the dmg rating is at around 483 for the CH combo you mentioned.
