Yeah, I have a PS3 but I don't play on PSN often unless somebody wants to play me, or my XBL has expired.

terms like spacing, crossups, option selects and framedata shouldn't be new to you when you played guilty (or any fighter, really.), lol.
don't try to leap too far and aim for basic character understanding first before worrying about advanced setups, framedata and the like.
and get rid of that "projectile spammers are lame" mindset cause that heavily conflicts with the character understanding part.
and pads are fine imo - whatever works.

Well the frame data in GG isn't really that important since you simply don't have enough time to think about that in a fight.
About projectiles - it's not really a problem it's just that projectile spam feels like a cheap way to win.
As for gamepad. I don't use my Dualshock 3 since it has bad D-Pad *bad for a fighting game that is* I use this

It has better D-Pad. *I don't use analog sticks*
P.S. Only 3 trials left until i finished Juri's challenges. Those are hard as f**k, not because it's hard to input the combination but, because it's hard to not forget what to push and do everything with the right timing......

Of course we can allways arrange a PC match online if you like to prove me wrong but, this is not the right topic to discuss Guilty Gear imo.

Maining Sakura and getting my ass beat. Hard. Need to improve execution, badly. Don't worry. As a Sakura mainer myself, you need to improve execution. She's a high risk/high reward character, so her execution is important. I'd suggest watching some of Skatan's videos. Here are videos of him vs. a Ryu player for the FT10. Watch and learn.

Any other Ibuki mainers here have a strat for dealing with Guile? I just can't get in on him.Ibuki should have a few tools to get in. She has her forward+MK, down-forward+MK, EX Neck Breaker, the bunny hop kick and Super Jump to get around projectiles. Once you are on Guile, keep pressure, and if you get a knock down, go for those Kunai cross-ups, Guile can't do much against that.

Spoiler:
Thanks for the heads up! Really learned a few things from those. I usually watch and learn from videos of Uryo and Sabre. Her execution is definitely important, though I'm not too sure of her mindgames. I always feel that an opponent that is paying attention will always catch and punish me as I try to to set up her air resets.

Then don't go for reset mix-ups. My suggestion for you is to play a few games online and say, "I'll do up to 3 resets throughout the entire match". This way, you'll teach yourself to use them sparingly.
Anywho, I haven't played SSFIV for 2 months and I went to a tournament. Didn't do to bad...

Considering that you were rusty going in, that was pretty cool! How far did you get, in the tourney?
