Which game did you enjoy more?

I would never be able to play that much in a row. That's too much time for me to devote to one game, especially one as long as symphonia.

It's just the same as FFXII where you can just plow through without any care for hunts, sidequests and good gears. And realized you just finished it at 20 hours or so. You can do that if you have good directions at the game or experienced because you played it through several times.

Possible, but not as efficient. I'm the guy that runs past all the monsters so the boss fights will be harder. I'm the guy who is seven levels below the FAQ recommended at any given point in the game, so I need to use the best tactics to win.

I would suggest using Lloyd, Regal/Sheena, Genis/Sheena, and Raine. Obviously, you won't have 2 Sheenas, so substitute her in for one of those if you want to. Keep Lloyd pwning with Lightning Tiger/Thrust, Regal/Sheena tanking, Raine always casting revitalize, Genis casting indignation, (if possible) and Sheena throwing S-Seal Lights on Regal/Lloyd. Took me 30 minutes my first fight (it was epic) and 12 minutes the second time.

I'm a Tales Whore. I own all NA released Tales game except for ToW: Radiant Mythology. I've imported PSX version of Phantasia and Destiny 2.
I have a love/hate relationship with Symphonia and Abyss. They don't feel like a tales game at all, if it wasn't for all the returning items, skills, monsters, and cameo battles I wouldn't even consider them Tales games.

tales of symphonia is the best...tales of legendia was ok but still a letdown...and abyss was great but didn't give me the same feelin of awsomeness that I felt in symphonia

Hmm. Does anyone here know where to buy the Tales of Destiny Remake?
Originally for PS. They made a Remake that has better graphics and special features for the PS2.

Tales of Eternia(Tales of Destiny 2 PS1 English Ver.) is the most awesome Tales game for me but it's not on the list so I voted for Phantasia it's one of the first RPG games I played, then there's Tales of Destiny(1) and later Tales of Destiny 2(PS2 not released in US) and the Tales of The World in PSP the latest Tales I played... Tales series really is one of the best games Namco Created with it's unique battle system and great story plot not to mention it's superb graphics...

I can really understand how it feels coz I played Tales of the World with 630+ hours of gameplay just to make all characters lvl 255 and make all jobs of my main character lvl 255 but it's not really that boring coz when I get bored with Reid's Rising Phoenix I use Senel or Stahn or Lloyd's Rising Falcon(I just love tales' rising Ougis)

I have tales of symphonia at 100% complete with about 220 hours played and 5 play throughs.
Also played Tales of Phantasia, althought it was an emulation, which may have robbed me of some of the fun.
The story of Symphonia felt very exciting the first time, with all the sudden turns. However, on the second playthrough, I realized how cheap this tactic is as the story as a whole becomes so horrible. Still like some of the charactes alot, thougth, and I would consider it one of my favorite games.
And by the way: GIEF ToS II to europe!

finished mostly all the Tales series game, with the eception of Tales of Destiny 2, Tempest & Vesperia. right now playing ToD2.
My Tales of favorite list would be something like this:
-Tales of Phantasia
-Tales of Eternia
-Tales of Destiny Remake & Director Cut
-Tales of Rebirth
-Abyss/Symphonia
-ect
