I'd really want to play the remake of Tales of Destiny in English.
I wonder how that fan translation is going.
There's a fan translation underway...?
Didn't know of that. Thought you speak Japanese?
Also, I shat bricks when I saw your name on GameFAQs...
Yup there's a fan translation underway...I think.
Seems to be on hiatus right now though.
Found this while I was hanging around Tales forums before.

And no I can't speak or read Japanese lol

This pool needs moar Tales.
So far my favourite one is:

Sad that its only in Japanese though, i had to sit with a dictionary to understand at least anything. But i still have my 500+ hours savegame with 4 or 5 New Game+ restarts. It had very entertaining and wide equipment customization which was fck hard to understand in jap.
And so far i completed every Tales of game *originals and re-makes* except for Vesperia.

I think Tales of games are pretty easy to understand, even with minimal Jap skills.
Anyway, 500+ hours? That's insane! My last save was around...250 hours with maybe 6 or 7 playthroughs... yeah I tend to rush things.
Personally, I think the skills customization was harder to understand than the equipment one... but I tell you, nothing beats Rogue Galaxy's (JP) factory system in that regard... lol now that was ridiculous IMO.
My main char in ToD2 has always been Judas. Hybrids rule this game, and he's pretty good at that... (and he's just soooo cool) stick Roni as tank on the front line and let the mages deal the damage, haha.

Tales games <3
My favourite series by far. :D
Even though I don't like the handhelds... <.<;;
I've only played like 5 of them too... xD
Best to worst is probably:
Abyss
Vesperia
Symphonia
Legendia
Phantasia
My favourite series by far. :D

I'm pretty much just lazy because, i rarely change the character i play with from the start *in games where you can do that* So my party was always Kyle Judas Harold and Reala. I played for Kyle and Reala.
As for Rogue galaxy, it was indeed insane even in English to understand how the factory works.

I enjoyed Tales of Symphonia the most out of all of them. Tales of Phantasia is a very close runner-up, though~^^
I might have changed my mind if I played the Tales of Destiny Director's Cut; that is one of the games that I want to play soo bad~ I also really want to play ToD 2 (I would prefer the PSP remake though).
I also want to play Tales of Graces very much; I am still awaiting the announcement of an English translation over here in the States~!

No escort titles? Phantasia gets my vote, I also enjoyed Symphonia but phantasia is what started it all. INDIGNAYTION

Its got to be Phantasia for me too. Its what got me started with the tales series and the battle system was just so awesome haha. I remember playing it for the snes, then for the ps1 with the destiny battle system i think, then for the gba haha.
But yeah, destiny also holds a special place in my heart for being my first ps1 tales game. And damn it, i'm waiting on that ps2 remake translation too (i'll eventually get around to learning japanese just to play some of these games xD). Otherwise, I'll just pay my friend to read it to me haha =P.

Tales of Vesperia is the only one I've played so far and it really fucking awesome. It's probably one of my favorite RPG's. I just got Tales of the Abyss today and I must say the voiceless skits is like a slap in the face from god. Currently downloading and trying to get the undub version to work.

Graces F, is awfully "meh" to me. I plan on getting a PS3 eventually, and with that I might pick it up in time, but it isn't anything I'm rushing to get by any means.

Nice, never could play Innocence myself sadly, but I've heard it's pretty good.
Hopefully we will get the game on Vita as well (in english).
You will not be disappointed with Abyss, it's a pretty good tales game.

2 more month before Tales of Graces F comes out hehehe...
I would love to vote on this poll but considering I only played 2 of the 4 (3 if you count ToV) Tales game, don't feel fair to vote for not playing them all.

Hmm, a tough one.
id' say that i go for Tales of Symphonia, since it's the only game that i finished.
but my vote is goes on Tales of Abyss.
