tales of the abyss is my favorite,although i love the tales series since the first tales i played (tales of destiny)

My votes on Tales of Symphonia
Finished it 6 times and 100+ hours worth.

I'm interested in playing Vesperia, kinda busy at the moment. Oh, also Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. I hope i can finally learn the name that Llyod gave the new mana tree.

refuse to vote for the lack of Eternia/Destiny being on the list

Play Tales of Phantasia (SNES and GBA), ToS is the prequel to that.

I loved Abyss. It's my favorite next to Vesperia.

Tales of Phantasia has been my favorite RPG for qutie some time. Until FFX12 came out.

Abyss. The fighting style seemed more refined than Symphonia's. I also liked the Fon circle system, and don't forget the unforgetable cast..... Jade for the Win!!! :D

I like Tale Of Abyss the most.
I love Tear. She is an adorable girl.
I like the character development of Luke.
It would have been a perfect game if the ending isnt so....confusing.

I haven't play ToS so....
anyway, I like ToA..the character development is the one that got me..
Especially Luke...Tear also really cool^^
She'll always be in my 5 top girls^^

damn straight! were the love for destiny/eternia? i loved those ones, IMO Meredy = win!

Symphonia and Abyss had the best stories. But Abyss is more fun. I care not for the rest.

Abyss was good in quite a few ways but it also felt pretty cheap. The framerate on the world map had to be around 10fps or so... Also, post-Eternia, the Tales games featured enough random technobabble to make Star Trek hide its face in shame. Oh noes, the tetronol reactors are going haywire because the zachie effect is influencing the haprix dilator! If only we had someone who could reverse the yatro flow and induce a state of hesronix! Oh what? WE DO?!

So far, I have played all Tales games except those for the current gen and handhelds. Don't have a Wii or a PS3 and I refuse to play a Tales in English... yeah I'm a fanboy, so what.

My favorite Tales hands down is the Remake of Tales of Destiny... that one was killer. Also the hardest Tales game IMO next to Tales of Destiny 2, which was just ridiculous but still doable.

Didn't enjoy Tales of Legendia too much... it just felt way out of place and having a martial artist as main protagonist was kinda weird (I know you can play others, just sayin')

If I had to make a list, the order would be:

1. Tales of Destiny: Remake
2. Tales of Rebirth
3. Tales of Destiny 2
4. Tales of Eternia
5. Tales of the Abyss
6. Tales of Phantasia: PSX Remake
7. Tales of Symphonia
8. Tales of Legendia

Didn't include originals when remakes are available.

Too bad most of the PS2 Tales weren't localized, those were the best by far... (especially the 2D ones)

Quite a huge fan myself. My favorite is probably Abyss, but I'm also a huge fan of Legendia. I have to admit though, the series is starting to get as stale as Final Fantasy. Vesperia's gameplay was it's only outstanding feature, and every Tales game after has been mediocre at best.

Let's see. I've played: Phantasia, Destiny, Eternia, Symphonia, Legendia, Abyss, Vesperia, Dawn of the New World, Radiant Mythology, Narikiri Dungeon and Tempest.

so far I only have played 3 tales games

Tales of Eternia (PSP)
Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology (PSP)
Tales of Vesperia (Xbox 360)

As of right now after a long wait I'm starting to play Vesperia again. Currenly on my second playtrough.

Hmm, Tales. This is one of my favorite RPG series.
I really like the battle System.
My favorite Tales game so far is Tales of the Abyss.

The games I played are:
Tales of Destiny
Tales of Eternia
Tales of Phantasia
Tales of Legendia
Tales of the Abyss

I also have Tales of Vesperia and I'm gonna have Tales of Symphonia for the gamecube soon. My favorite Tales character is Norma though I didn't really like Legendia much too.

I'd really want to play the remake of Tales of Destiny in English.
I wonder how that fan translation is going.

I've also transcribed the Game Scripts of Tales of Phantasia (that badly localized GBA version) and Tales of Destiny which can be found on GameFAQs.

There's a fan translation underway...?
