THE iDOLM@STER 2

My guess is that they want to give Yukiho more fan-base. I believe that they want to give her a second chance and give the new voice-actress a chance to give her more fans.

Makes me think of re-thinking the ps3...Friggen want 2 games on xbox 360 now...x-x

Any new news about iM@S 2? I'm still excited to at least try this game. Hopefully they will have the full song set-list from all the previous iM@S games and new ones as well.

Well seems like people still buying the game despite the protest. From what I heard you can still get to use Azusa, Iori and Rihoko but not in the main gameplay though.

Honestly I'm not liking the idea of Boys group as rival. Kinda seems out of place. It would be better if they have a separate game for managing Boys group instead.

And I'm really happy with Makoto's new look. Not that I have an Xbox to play the game anyway... *cries*

What the fuck is idolm@ster?

Haven't seen this news yet. This stuff is new to me, but seems like it was posted a while back. I'm a little late on these things I guess... :

A massive “IDOLM@STER” update from the TGS



While Namco is the producer of the game, the Microsoft booth at the Tokyo Game Show gave attendees a taste of what they can expect from the upcoming game, “THE iDOL M@STER 2”. The concept of the game is to turn three girls into an idol group, who would then become national superstars. Characters from the original “Idol Master” and “Idol Master SP” will join a new cast of idols, complete with new soundtrack.

The game will consist of dance lessons, creating the ideal image, idol showdowns, and constructing idol promotion videos (PV). You are literally acting as an agent taking the girls through the process of becoming one of Japan’s top idols.









They also have two special items for fans, scheduled to come out in Spring of 2011: “THE IDOLM@STER 2 765 professional corporate brochure” with cookies, and “THE IDOLM@STER 2 strawberry crunches” with chocolate crunches. Both are priced at 1200 Yen, and are packaged in a colorful box featuring images of the “IDOLM@STER” girls.





The player will get to choose from nine girls, as well as being able to select their outfits. The company provided full profiles and even autographs of the idols that will appear in the game.

Regarding OSTs for the game, on 9/22 an OST titled “THE IDOLM@STER MASTER ARTIST 2 Prologue” will be available for 1500 Yen. On 10/20, the idols of the game will have their own album, “THE IDOLM@STER MASTER ARTIST 2 –FIRST SEASON-“, each with a solo song. The final OST will be released on 11/17, titled, “THE IDOLM@STER MASTER ARTIST 2 –SECOND SEASON-“. Both albums are priced at 1800 Yen.

"TEnkai" HAruka? you're defintely getting your sources wrong. IT's still Amami

Her Name can be read as TEnkai and Amami, but she clealrly states that her name is Amami Haruka

I didn't do the translating. I still knew that it was Amami, and made me confused as fudge when I read Tenkai as her last name. Also got Tanake's name wrong too, ans stated it was Takashi. Fail on the person translating. :P

Saw the new, 6th PV. Looks like they have a release date as well as some gameplay vids and a bit more preview of the new vocalist for Yukiho. Also seems like you can play with Iori, Azusa, Ami, and Ritskuo again. Also, best part in, no male idols were shown! Yay! This made my day.

Sorry! That's the only one with all of them so far. No full one was recorded as of yet. I'm guessing once the game comes out, they'll release full CDs like what they did for iM@S 1.
