The "Last Game You Beat" Thread

[color=#9D0A0A]Splinter Cell Blacklist. i give it a 9.5/10, i really love it a lot. that and i'm a really big fan of the books and games, so it's always nice to get a new one and play it.[/color]

Last game I finished was Corpse Party for PSP. Really good stuff, though some parts were slightly frustrating.

[color=blue]The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The game that started the whole issue of the Split Timeline. Wall of Text and Spoiler alerts for the few people who don't know how it ends.[/color]

Psssh! Wind Waker! Go play that! Best Zelda game for me :D. Then comes Majora's mask and in third place is Skyward sword.

The Wonderful 101, while the metacritic score is hovering around a 78 right know I have to say that after playing the game it deserved at least an 85. It's fun and comical sense of humor combined with epic boss battles and a decent challenge makes the game a whole bunch of fun to play. It's unique mechanics which can be mastered(as I did get better and higher scores the more I played), as well as the different Unite morphs allowed for really cool and fun gameplay that is a challenge. Unlike some other games which are heavily cinematic and lack in gameplay, this game is clearly designed around playing a game and having fun with it. Replay value is huge though and the more you play, the better the game gets. Which is good considering it is a fairly short but highly action packed game. Worth it if you have a Wii U or are considering getting one since there was a price drop recently.

That said, The game isn't perfect. In some sequences where you get closer to the characters they look like they have less of an attention to detail compared to other titles on the Wii U which have it better(even some of the screens of Smash Bros 4 have nice little bits such as designs on peach's crown). The need to use specific unite morphs to take out baddies also struck me as a minor annoyance as I wanted to dish out combos but couldn't use my favorite morphs.

Fire Emblem: Awakening was the last game I beat. At the moment, I'm on my... seventh? playthrough for it again. I can't stop playing it, apparently. I just love it too much.

That is a really great game :D. It is actually the game that sold me on the 3DS in the first place XD. Who did you pair your avatar with o-o? I went with Tharja because she is just plain awesome :D, although I had no idea she was so popular before I played the game o-o.

I feel so accomplished.

I finally finished Atelier Meruru. I got the platinum and I beat Makina's Domain as well. My party was so ridiculously overpowered by the end of the game. Right now I'm suffering from that feeling of being completely done with a good game. I'm going to miss the Arland trilogy. At least Rorona is getting a remake... don't know if it'll get localized though. Then there's also Ayesha and Escha & Logy as well. I actually will be playing Ayesha due to the glorious power of CFW and undubs...

The last game I beat had to be Pokemon White 2. I didn't beat it so much as I used a Legendary I got from Gamestop and beat it because I wanted to transfer my Pokemon from Gen IV to Gen V before Gen VI comes out on Saturday.

My most recent beaten game was Killer Is Dead on the PS3, or what I would like to call it, 'Metal Gear Rising on acid' because that is what the game felt liked to me thanks to Suda 51's goodness. Trying to go for AAA in most missions right now and unlocking the remainder of outfits for the Mondo girls.

I'm pretty close to beating Fire Emblem: Awakening. I'm leveling up my characters for the last chapter before the endgame chapter/epilogue.

After than I'll probably check up on my animal crossing town (I've been neglecting it for Fire Emblem. Then I'll start on Super Paper Mario Sticker Stars.

Technically, Cooking Mama 1. I got gold on all 76 recipes.
