The "Last Game You Dropped" Thread

Contrary to Sakabato's "The Last Game you Beat Thread", what was the last game you played, and then dropped?
Have you stop playing a game cause you can't stand grinding? Have you stop playing a game cause the story was convoluted?

Clarification: Not just rage quitting. A full on "NEVER AGAIN", or "... I'm done".

I've recently dropped SSX. They just tried to make it different then the originals, I just want to snowboard and do crazy tricks.
Also Assassin's Creed 3. I don't think I need to explain why...

Age of Empires 2/3 and Command and Conquer 3.

I don't play campaigns of real-time strategy games. More specifically, I no longer try to. My playing style (I build a massive army, turning my base into an "impregnable" fortress in the process, then direct it toward the enemy base while destroying everything in my path) is not conducive to how I'm expected to play, so I fuck around in custom games with AI instead.

The last game I dropped (as in "no more") was MS Saga: A New Dawn last year. The game's kinda fun, but to build decent MS (yes despite not being a "true" Gundam game, you do fight SD mecha from the Gundam franchise) you MUST mix up parts to make up custom units. And honestly, that is akin to heresy to me. I like my MS how they are canonically, thanks.

Fallout 3. The eternal brown was making my mood drop, so I got rid of it. It's a pity, because it would be so amazing if it had more colour than brown and shades of brown.

I got this for free and i feel like getting a refund.

It was the same for me with SSX on Tour, it annoyed me immediatly.

The last game I dropped was Twisted Metal, I bought it and it ended up not really getting played.

Assassins's Creed 3. It is utter shit. i was having fun at first but when core mechanics aren't working and you can't force your "assassin" to crouch I just can't.....with this....GOD I HATE THIS GAME. Biggest disappointment since Brink and Wet.

FF7. The stupid thing glitched and I can't make any more progress . I like it, but not near enough to restart it.

Fallout: New Vegas - too many glitches and the game would freeze up on me a couple of times.
Record of Agarest War: Zero - Overall it was waaaaay too slow to keep playing, I nearly fell alseep during battles because they took so long.

Diablo(fucking)III

It was my first Diablo game. I bought it out of goodword from my brother based on the previous diablo games. At first it was fine but after the first playthrough of the game we both got sick of the repetitiveness.
It's just the same map, same mobs, same skills OVER AND OVER AND OVER again.

I often got sleepy while playing the game with my brother, and that's saying a lot since I can go on and on with that guy.

Never again will I play RPG's like that.
Biggest 74.99$ I'v wasted in my life.

Don't worry, in a few months you'll get to rebuy it for the PS3/4! I'm sure that will be great!

Need for speed shift. I bought it, played it for like 2 hours and literally said 'Why the fuck are they using need for speed physics on a track? What the fuck went through their heads? These aren't fucking track fucking physics. Fuck.' Didn't even get the see the modification stuff... The physics pissed me off that much. YOU DON'T DRIFT ON A NORMAL FUCKING TRACK. YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH THIS SHIT IN NORMAL NFS GAMES, BUT NOT ON A TRACK. PROSTREET WAS A THOUSAND TIMES BETTER THAN THIS SHIT.
I was winning the race, too... It just annoyed me that much.

Took it back the next day, got my money back.

Just hate the online lag I get all the time, always getting crap teams, other team "never gets lag" just annoyed me.

Final Fantasy 12 (this was a long time ago though):

I got trapped in a dungeon and I was too under-leveled to beat the boss (Cid). I was also pretty much out of healing potions. I did like the game but I didn't really feel like restarting it at the time. Maybe I'll pick it up again one day though.

The only one I'm marking down for the new years is Nighty Nine Nights 2. Difficulty curve is comparable to 1-2-30-60.
As well, in game hint/indication on how to deal with conflicts are non-existent.
The story is as cliche as they come and completely uninteresting, the first game I ever actually skipped unwatched cut scene of, and I've easily played 300 games.
Game play was... As or more so repetitive than a point and click MMO... Which I had never thought possibly. Any Dynasty Warrior game is better than that was for me.
So strange too, I can't seem to remember any discontent with the first game, this one, just everything about it, is uninteresting.

Oh, and I beat the game, as one character, I was trying to beat it as one of the other 5 characters... Who are easily forgettable.

I guess I should say Halo: ODST. I wouldn't say I have really dropped it, but I certainly doubt I'll finish the campaign. Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time is much more important.
