FF7 the general annoying fanboys and the general set up is just.. I would have appreciated this more if it brought anything new to the table.
most jrpgs that aren't SMT. Though I am trying my hardest with disgaea. Its basically FF tactics [which I loved] but I am not sure what it is that is making me put it off to the side while I complete twelve other games.

Gran Turismo (Yep, the first one).
Playing it on an emulator is a bit hard. Getting a high-tier license is harder.
So, after I maxed out my savannah, I deleted the .iso and sworn never to play it again. Ever.

For me that would be the first Assasin's Creed game. My brother bought almost all the games fro the series with the exception of III, and I decided to play them chronologically. Bu the first one just... didn't seem fun to me, it just didn't work. So I just read online what happened in that game and went straight for II. I do do not regret that decision, since it does everything that I should have done.

Civilization IV, although i like 4X games for their Feel-like-a-Boss when your dominating, too much micromanagement would often tire my head after a days worth of playing .

*checks my list of installed MMOs
World of Warplanes (under beta, dropped only because i'm having a hard time playing it with a mouse)
Grand Chase (tired of "Z" button spam)
Ragnarok Online 2 (tired of opening VPNs just to open the darn game)

[size=14]COD MW3. I'm not sure I need to clarify. It was given to me against my will and I felt that I should at least try to play it, got halfway through the campaign (that fact alone amazes me) then said fuck this, and went back to playing Pokemon like a real man.[/h]

Final Fantasy XIII
This is what you get when dozens of bad ideas are squeezed together to make this shovelware. I'm on the 15 hr mark and things are still stagnant.
*goes back playing Chrono Trigger*

Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi, I've dropped this game twice. The first time I didn't know what the fuck I was doing cause i didn't do the tutorial.
The second time I was fully knowledgeable of the game mechanics and said "fuck it, this sucks". If the rock-paper-scissors style fighting wasn't bad enough, most of the story was condensed into boring blocks of scrolling text.
I can confidently say "NEVER AGAIN" to this title. Instead I'm waiting for J-Stars Victory Vs to fulfill my fighting game needs.

Games that I have dropped..... well let me tell you a story with one game. My girlfriend and I were at game stop in my town. She got some ps2 games she liked and I got one. It was Silent Hill:shattered memories, I was like oh shit it's silent hill. These games are creepy and cool, because I thought they made alright games like the 3rd or down pour, but when I played it I was super depressed and I mean sad. Literally one of the dumbest games i have ever played. Well even though there was zero stealth or combat system I still gave it a shot.... well even the ending was shit. Totally predictable to. So I looked up online for the "other endings" and I could not even finish that. I still regret for have just played it.
Oh and then there was Armored Core 3 which was just too hard for me. At one point in the game. At least my game... there was a enemy that took no damage, I have restarted my file about 6-7 times with new weapons core, etc. Just to see if it was the type of weapon that was wrong.... nope still no damage. But I still love the mech customization. I just never picked it back up I guess.

all the FF13 hate

OT: Disregarding MMOs, since I drop them almost immediately anyway, I think the last game that I played some way through and truly have no intention of picking up again is Assassin's Creed 3. Everything just felt so boring compared to AC2's first few hours (which I thought were pretty good).
I've got a bunch of other Steam games at the moment that I'm not playing, but I plan on getting to them... eventually, lol.

Fallout 3. The eternal brown was making my mood drop, so I got rid of it. It's a pity, because it would be so amazing if it had more colour than brown and shades of brown.Which is surely the crux of the entire narrative of the game, it being an exquisitely crafted and realised 50s throwback apocalyptic wasteland. I know people should be entitled to their opinions, but fuck. Fallout 3 has so much character if you buy into it, and some of the best and most varied quests in an RPG, certainly a Bethesda one.
Mine is Dark Souls though, so have fun with that one. It's an addictive kind of tedium but I'm still not convinced it's a good game. Probably better with online, but I don't have XBL Gold or time to commit right now. Will try again later.

I'm not saying otherwise. It was a very enjoyable game when I had it. I actually got plenty far and sunk quite a bit of time into it, getting past plenty of side-quests, two of the DLCs, 95% done with another, the main quest, and a part of Broken Steel. Aside from the fact that almost everything is a shade of brown or grey, it's a great game. It's just that there's only so much brown and grey that I can take until I'm sick of it and never want to see it ever again in my life.

Spoiler:
That's fair enough; I assumed a dropped game was one people gave up on finishing, technically you've like 120%'d it.
Very pretty and sharply rendered brown and grey with PC mods, I might add. :)
