Utawarerumono (English) (Voice patch)

Sorry for the double post,but I had a quick question. Upon playing the game, I noticed that there are no voice overs during the tutorial or the first part of the game. I installed the voice files, as was indicated on the first page, but I don't know if I did it wrong. Can someone fill me in?

I copied and pasted the utaware-voice.dll, utaware-voice, and UTSOUND.SFS into my Utawarerumono folder in my C drive.

You have to run the game with the .exe that came with the voice patch to get the voices each time you start the game. So you will double click the utaware-voice.exe that you got with the voice patch to have voices. If that doesn't work just say so and we will try other things.

And now my game has voices, thank you so much for the info, I just launched the game from the shortcut on my desktop.

You're welcome. Just to let you know as well as others that play this game that the voices will stop during the sex scenes. Don't worry cause that's suppose to happen. The PC game never had a voice over so these voices are from the PS2 version of the game. It's the exact same game except no sex in the PS2 version. So that's why the voices will cut out during sex scenes. Really tho it shouldn't matter too much. After all the real fun of this game comes from the story as it is plot driven. The sex scenes are just a bonus as you enjoy the epic story.

Finally finished the game and it was amazing. Great storyline and awesome characters, now I want to go and watch the anime. Again, thank you for posting it.

You use the HJSplit 2.4 version. It's the first choice, once you click on the link. It you read the OSes listed, you'll see Vista is one of them.

I agree, the voices really added alot of depth to the character development. I want to bump this topic again, because this is a great game.

I just finished the game. (I'm still missing 2 CG pieces)
I only have this to say: A masterpiece!
Good action, good humor (it's rare for a game to make me laugh) and very touching moments. (the ending made me cry. Haven't done that in a while either)
I certainly enjoyed this game/novel

the other 2 cg will show up when you finish the game the 2 time with different difficulty

everytime i download part 1 it says it's corrputed while extracting. i have that alot with my rar file's lately

You do know you have to download both parts right? If you haven't do so. If you have then just redownload part 1 and hope for the best.

i know i need to down both parts and i already downloaded it multiple times and it's still corrupted.

Let me download it and see if Megaupload has corrupted the files. It happens sometimes. I will get back to you on that either here or through a PM.

Well I downloaded both parts and they are fine for me. Neither one was corrupt. The problem is something that's happening when you're downloading them.
