It's really weird but the patch works separately from the english installation shortcut when I try to use it. Anyone know how to fix this or where I screwed up? Thanks!

Could someone host the files elsewhere like mediafire or something? I live in Singapore so because of the ISP I can't download from rapidshare or megaupload.
(something to do with my IP address being shared, so someone else is always downloading at the same time)

The voice.exe is in the install directory of the game right? You shouldn't have 2 .exe(s), just Utaware-voice.dll, Utaware-voice.exe and UTSOUND.SFS.

I'm not very clear on what you mean on the install directory. What I know is that I put the voice patch and the other files in the c:/program files/utawarerumono folder but the voice.exe app will not work without the original .exe

ok problem fixed due to my stupid mistakes. Turns out I've been putting the patch into c:/utawarerumono instead of c:/program files/utawaremono. Sorry for wasting your time. It really is a great game even though I just started playing! Thanks for posting it up

i am thinking of trying to play routes. i have been wanting to ask, is your avatar a character in routes? im not really sure on what to expect on the game. I already saw the vndb and en.wikipedia entries but they are really lacking. so i was hoping that a leaf fan like yourself can tell me more about it. do you recommend it? any additional information that you can tell me? maybe a little gist of the story? i don't mind getting spoiled.

Is there a way I can save and transfer a saved file to someone else? If i can what file must i keep because for some reason during the nick name scene with yuzuha - the game just suddenly just freezes and i get an error message.

But i can see 3 think .save (000.save/000idx.save/record.save)... try to cut/paste those thinks ...
imo 000idx.save is for the CG/memory and 000.save ... is the save of the game itself ...
(sorry if i say nonsense, i'm a french guy.)

Excellent! Voice patched... I've had and played Utawarerumono without it. And to find a voice patch... amazing. And the fact that the H-scenes are not voiced... is oddly a positive, since that means I can play whenever without worry with my speakers. (since moaning is quite likely to draw shall we say "unwanted attention") But that was my biggest complaint with the game was the lack of voices. Makes the games a bit easier to play.
