What VN are you playing? What do you think about it?

Currently playing steins;gate. As expected form the original, it has even more sparks than the anime, and the anime was already good.Zolnir wrote...
Shizuru's route also have more CGs that were put to better use as compared to the other routes. Some of them just made me felt tears and Clannad when the scene played out. I never understood the great amount of rejection I got from the vndb forums (lazy to argue with them) when I told them that.Btw Zolnir, do you know what exactly is this 'good memories'?
I'd also like to add to Zolnir's post on 'good memories'

Finished Rewrite Harvest Festa. It definitely helped resolve some dissatisfying, mysterious endings of Rewrite.

About Rewrite Quest, I lost interest when I found out that it was an event that happened during the time of Moon. I would've played it to the end if they say that it was a future scenario after Terra, but well, shobon. T_T

Great to know that Rewrite Harvest Festa gives more closure to some of the ends. I'm looking forward to it even more!
Well, I recently started Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and I intend to go through all releases.
I'm not sure I would call Phoenix Wright an VN since it's more oriented to adventure than narrative but regardless, I'm liking it a lot so far.
If you just look at the game description you'll see that there will fatally be mystery and battle of wits involved. Although the game so far doesn't rise even close to Umineko regarding the excitement (similar genres), it's pretty fun to read and to press on the witnesses when they're on the court to get true facts out of them and to finally find the true murderer.
Today I finished episode / case 3. There are still 2 more to go but given my experience so far, I'll give Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney a solid 7/10.

Kamidori Alchemy Meister.
This is unacceptable. I should not be devoting this much time for an eroge...and enjoying this much as an RPG. I CAN'T GO IN PUBLIC AND PLAY THIS!! This is the kind of stuff I read when I come home from a long day at work, and I want to relax the rest of my nights...

Due to sheer boredom, I decided to download two games for the hell of it.
The first one is "Become tentacle, destroy the town and humiliate girls!". Really, there's nothing else to the game other than the title. However, the characters have quite a bit of depth to them (for this type of game, meaning they have slightly more than the bases) and it was actually fun reading the paragraph or so describing the character's thoughts and backstory. There also may be some bonus reward for getting all eight girls in one life, but it kicked me out after five. I wouldn't recommend it for any reason than the novelty of the game's name.
The second one is "Polygon Love 2". Despite the title, it's really just a cosplay sex sim. It has an awful "story" mode that has the main character and his little sister childhood friend that he thought was his little sister and forgot everything about but her name going on a date. Meaning he buys clothes for her and she wears them. Then they have sex. The end. If you want to make the unchangeable main character have sex with a character (they have outfits made so you can choose any popular anime character) then go for it. If you want a story, look somewhere else.
I suppose I should get back to Duel Savior, hm? Hopefully I'll be able to finish a route this time.

Lol, I've been replaying Oyako Rankan (It's just so fucking sexy, it's the 4th time I reinstalled this) and finally continuing Pastel Chime 3 (Level grinding always demotivates me (I just got Shirley).. and I blame Pokemon White 2, just borrowed a 3DS) for the past 2 week.
Still waiting for LovelyXCation 2...

-Zolnir. No idea... New VNs looks generic right now hahaha.
Playing Eiyuu Senki. Does this game have max turn counts? Now fighting EU, later going for Russia (duh) and Macedonia

Oooh, good one amorim, it does look interesting! I'll see if I can find a working link.
And Sanada, there's no turn count limit (not until the very last boss if I remember properly) so just skip all you like and get dem gold. =3

Since I was forced to wait for the awful 3DS battery to charge, I decided to play Minna Daisuki Kozukuri Banchou. I have to say that it feels a lot like Beyblade, combat-wise. It's just a bunch of people ramming into each other and making erratic motions while occasionally using some special move to try and knock all the other fighters out of the ring. It's better than it sounds, if only barely.
Now, the plot. Main Character (AKA Apollo Justice fused with Phoenix Wright) wants to get children with women so that he and his sister can escape poverty. Ironic, isn't it? Anyway, the battles have the winner making the loser do whatever they want, as well as get the school of the loser. It says they're shut down or something, but I'm not really sure what does happen. Phoenix Justice makes all the women he beats his wife, thus sending them deeper into poverty, because he wants to...get out of poverty. Phoenix Justice could easily use the victory system to get out of poverty by getting money, but that would ruin the plot.
I'm not really that far, and I've only seen one non-forced h-scene. Yeah, this game kinda shoves them on you by making it a plot point. It's really not bad at all, so hopefully it doesn't suffer the Duel Savior Issue.
I'm going back to Overclocked.

[size=14]I play a few VNs simultaneously because if I play one for too long I end up burning out because I struggle with being able to hold my attention onto one thing (unless I get really engrossed), so I'm currently re-playing Da Capo and playing Shuffle! and Muv-Luv alternative. [/h]

Focusin on world conquest but zero fucks given about the story. Meh fuck it i'll do it at second playthrough lol. Don't want to deal with ITH-TA-Atlas headache again

Sanada, you can finish all the events in a single playthrough. It's designed to let you enjoy absolutely everything without needing to repeat the game. On of the many Pluses I find in Eiyuu Senki.
First impression on YU-NO.
First, thanks amorim! This really went above my expectations considering how old it is. So first, I'm not that deep into the story yet so I can't tell how it's going to turn out, but suffice to say the mystery drew me in quite strongly. It's been a while since I've read a story - real books aside - where I couldn't guess how it'll progress or end.
I'll lay out the single, most incredible positive point of this game: Creativity. The story itself is unique, its gameplay is intriguing (but pretty much impossible to go through without both visual and text walkthroughs), and incredibly nolstagic as you - ahem - casually enter a lady's room and begin rummaging through her stuff. That excitement never grows old lol.
The amount of objects you can point and click are surprisingly plentiful. Too often I've seen in games (well maybe the gamers are also lazy) with little to no objects that you can actually interact with. It's practically non-existent in current VNs!
The Time Map though is pretty much useless honestly. Still, it interacts well with the Jewel Save, and heck, this is probably the only non-RPG/SLG/everything kind of read-only Visual Novel that implements a limited save system, that I enjoy! Man...

Also question, there's a event when my income drops to 50% and battle event against big floating stone with 250k hp. How the fuck I beat this thing when ALL of my Commander stats are below 5 without any logical reason??
-zolnir. can you pm me yuno dl link *shameful request since i'm lazy*
