BiA is epic, I'm glad I retrained Proto's crew.
Also had a head-to-head with a Maus and held it in place long enough for the team to flank it and destroy it... and then an ally T57 Heavy shot and killed me. -.-
Also, less than 20k exp to T30. Almost there.

I've finally unlocked the VK 40.02 A after the long grind on the Tiger P.
I've got to say, it seems like the VK is a lot worst than my Tiger P. I think I just need to learn angles on the VK more since it seems like I get more penned from the front than my Tiger P. I dunno, it seems like I'm just having trouble adjusting to the VK than I had to do with the Tiger P.

When playing the VK, you need to change your playstyle to that of a supporting medium, for you can't rely on your much thinner hull armor at this tier to save you.

Well, that's it.
Trying and failing to drop the game didn't help, taking a cooldown didn't help, and after managing to squander almost five million silver, 5k gold AND over 75k free exp, all in the span of two days and all for a tank - the infamous T30 - that did NOT repay me for what I did to get it, I'm done with online gaming.
See you in other threads peeps.

We should totally hang out in some other games though pihip.
Also, picked up jagdtiger 88 and holy hell I've been missing out on credit farm. They weren't kidding when they said this tank rakes credits.

-Storm confirms that RU251 will be the tier 8 German light tank
Still. Grind is grind. And Fat Panther is still fat. But probably more mobile that VK 28.01...
Prolly.
Still this cartoon has it fat. Check his cheeks XD

What's with this game, I swear it follows me wherever I go.
Apparently I just needed a long cooldown after the fiasco with T30 - which nevertheless taught me a good lesson: NEVER go beyond Tier 8, unless you want to spend a ton of money, both real and not.
So yeah, I'm back peeps.

Well, tier 9 and 10 are pretty much pointless.
Tier 8 is last tier when fighting is profitable.
Getting in T10 battles with T6 scout sucks.
Especially on city maps
But if you manage to lit a E-50 engine on fire and watch it run is a funny sight indeed.

Actually, I enjoy playing my M103, though the T32 still has some of my best stats.I'd argue most medium tank players will have the most fun at tier 9 as well.

Re-bought the T28 Prototype (sold it to fund T30), and unlocked the Porsche Tiger. Now I only need to grind the long 88 and then hop in it, the turret can wait.
EDIT: Bought and tried, and it doesn't disappoint. That big ass frontal armor is wonderful, gotta love when slight angle allows to bounce most shots. The tank is a bit ugly though. :x
Also this.

So I just had the most epic battle ever in the T26E4 Super Pershing.

What made this match so great for me was that my team were the attackers, and I picked off the last 2 tanks remaining, the T28 and the T29 respectively with only 7 seconds remaining on the clock. Undoubtedly the closest game I have had where time was involved.

Impressive.
Super Pershing has all but disappeared here (I'm on EU server), everyone and their mother knows where to shoot it by now, not to mention the armor nerf.
Did you have to use a lot of gold ammo? The penetration on that thing is quite horrible for its tier (it's like a slower, more armored T25/2 as far as I can tell).

I've long contemplated getting an SP but grabbed a lowe and I'm enjoying it. I don't think the SP's armor is bad however when you engage at mid range, which is where it excels. It sees more or less the same enemy tanks that the T25/2 does and if you play as if you had its 90mm then it suddenly doesn't seem as bad.
Similar to the panther I suppose, close range is a death sentence to the SP.

Well, if we compare the two tanks, Super Pershing has:
- far superior armor
- same depression/elevation
- less speed and acceleration
- same gun, with worse aim time (but can mount stab)
- less camo
- far superior health
That said, after playing T25/2 for a while, it is a situational tank that excels only at sniping unsuspecting targets, and even there it still has a poor gun for a tank destroyer.
One COULD try to play SP as a slower and sturdier T25/2, but as far as my experience says, this is one of those tanks where carrying a few gold is mandatory.

Actually, I only used 4 rounds of gold, all at the end of the match to make sure I penetrated all my shots because I could NOT afford the time a missed shot would take, as I stated how much time was left when we won. So the last 4 shots went into the IS-3, which was at about 100 health, but the shot was lucky considering I fired on it's side when it peaked ever so slightly over the ledge, and I was moving. Like I said, lucky. Now the last three went into the T29 after my initial charge with him, then the T28 after I or someone else spotted him, and I saw that his ass was peaking out from the mountain area from the east, and considering the tank, I took priority on that thing, which only had 98 hp. After killing him, I finished off the T29, the T29 being the only thing to have damaged me, and there being only 7 seconds left on the clock. I don't want to sound conceded, but I think I did win the match for my team.
As for the SP itself, it's not a bad tank. You have to remember, it's a medium tank, and quite frankly, it's armor is quite good for it's tier. Now there are plenty of tier IX and X tanks that just don't give a shit about your spaced armor, but that's because this thing isn't supposed to play on the front line as a brawler. As for it's weak-points, yeah, a lot of people know them, but I was in another match where the enemy T29 player must have been new or haven't played against the SP enough, because he kept trying to go for my lower plate.

Well, I platooned a bit with a friend yesterday and fully upgraded the Porsche Tiger, and I'm pleased. It's like a slower IS, but with a more reliable gun (the aiming time is still stupidly long though) and much better armor.
For the record, in a match I sneaked behind an IS-2, killed it, then an AMX 50 120 fired at me and dinged three out of four shots, then out of frustration rammed me and did damage to himself, then after killing it a Jagpdanther II rushed me and fired once, dinged it as well, and got killed. We lost, but exp-wise I was on top, in a Tier 9 match. lol
In another match, I got Steel Wall with 5420 potential damage received, loved how a KV-1S was firing at me from long range, hit every time, and dinged every shot.
Most surprising, I rarely met enemies wise enough to aim for the weakspots, many just tried to pen that stupidly thick frontal armor and gun mantlet.
Then again, this tank works best at mid-long range, so no leeroy jenkins or you end a charred wreck.
EDIT:
This guy is a fucking genius. Also, enemy team was from Sparta.
