This is also my apology to Cinia for not saying that I was going to take part in the last contest, the summer one, and then not submit anything :D

Well, happy new year everyone!!! (of course mine was 6 hours ago :D )

Thank you for everyone who worked hard on their submissions. I am more than happy to see all the hard work and dedication within the entries of a kind of quality I was hoping for this time around.

As of now, the deadline for the contest is met and submissions will no longer be accepted. Stay tuned for the Reader's poll that will be posted in a couple days. The other judges and I will analyze the pieces as the polling is happening so both award-winners will be announced at one time and in a timely manner.

Thank you for your participation and happy new year! I look forward to seeing what wonderful writing the year of 2013 will bring.

Wow, look at this year entries. It sure is less than what I have expected. I guess the front page thing does make a difference. I mean, there was a lot of entries in the last Winter Contest, right? That's all thanks to the front page thingy, you can't say there was just old participants last time, right? But this time, I bet I can't find someone who is new submitting their entry =.= What if you like to write and you're new to Fakku? Front page post.

Well, I'm just sayin', since it has ended anyway. But I do hope next time Jacob would be more... generous.

Last few competitions had the participant list skyrocket (as in A LOT), this time is considerably less, and i'm pretty sure they are all experienced writers (to know to check this forum since no front page post).

Just make it a habit to check this forum out whenever you browse Fakku. I know I do.

I try to make time to visit this website once a day at least (Like, straight after the day's chores) but that's just about enough time to see the updates on the front page and read a few new releases...

Experienced my ass! Other than the veterans of before's contests, most of us are newbs. Although me, AssasinZassasin, etc have joined all of the previous ones, we don't really have any winning works. Ugh... Schools coming up soon, hope the results are out b4 then. Not that I'll win anyway.

Just now logged on and noticed this stuff. Life, eh? But seriously--fuckin' life. I'll drop off something that fits the bill of the contest. Obviously not an actual entry, but I need a reason to write again.

All the more reason for him to write something! I love a good read. And had Jerry decided to enter, it would just add some fire to an already interesting competition~
