A good portion of NTR stories just seem to pull this same thing, the "protect him/her" mindset in each (barring the forced down/drugged + raped variants) and it could almost always be solved with legal action or something else simple enough. At least your typical cheating stories are like "my bf/gf/husband/wife ignores me/I think they're cheating on me" so it makes a bit more sense for why they act the way they do, though it still doesn't excuse the cheating, just talk it out and if it doesn't work break up ffs. Not bashing the genre either, just would like to see something different than the "let's bang my lover's antagonist to stop them" trope for once.

Yeah I mean there’s some really solid netorare (mainly because it for some reason has the best art) but it’s just so lazy most of the time and almost always comes down to a lack of communication or an odd refusal to get authority involved. Which I get sorta revolves around Japan’s shame culture but still, fuck. And seriously, he doesn’t deserve either but there’s no dude on earth who’d rather have his girlfriend get fucked by his abuser than take the beatings. If i remember correctly, it's usually okay to buy beer at most ages as long as you don't look too too young. Carding is very lax there, unless like i said, you look too young.
