That scene with Hozumi is another time from the one in inequality sign. She's got braids this time. Also, it was Akira who suggested that they follow Hozumi when she disappears but was shot down by her other friends. Looks like she did tag along and peeked on them too.

Between the formidable fangs (page 17, panel 5), the band-aid (page 19, panel 2),
and Hozumi's coy answer ("Thanks for the meal!") to Sensei's unfinished question
("Are you really... [a vampire]?"), it's pretty clear she's a real vampire. Otherwise,
Key himself would not be so coy about revealing Hozumi's true nature.
