Very surprising. Intriguing, even. Which is a problem. Far be it from me to harsh on another creator's predilections, but the reader should never ask themselves why the story is focusing on the events it is when the events in the background are more interesting.

That said, page 2 panels 2 & 3 are totally worth it. >:=8)
